Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

CanadaThe rooms and the hallways for the rooms were old - the carpet and the furnitures were old and not very nice to look at. An hotel can look old fashioned but still have beautiful furnitures...this was not the case and that was a big contract with the rest of the experience at the hotel.

United StatesThe price could have been cheaper of course but then I would expect that everything else would be less to. I would be hard pressed to think of a complaint except that staying here ruins other hotel experiences.
This is an iconic hotel that manages to exceed even its high expectations. The staff, room, location, everything is the best possible. I can not think of a way to improve on it. I would not say however that this a "value" hotel but you do get what you pay for.

Saudi ArabiaThe housekeeping was bad, barely cleaned the room. We had to call a number of times for them to replace the dirty cups and replenish the water. Got charged as an authorization an insane amount for incidentals equal to my full stay cost, when I actually paid the full amount prior to my stay. When notified about it, the staff were not responsive and there was a clear lack of communication between the different staff members I spoke to. And to my surprise later a letter was slipped under my door at 4 am asking me to pay the incidentals when they have already over authorized !

United KingdomSo I have arrived on Friday and turned up for check in . I have been charged double for my stay. The reception lady authorised double payment on my card which left me short of money for my next destination . The only explanation I was given there was fault on their side and money are still showing taken until Today!!!! No courtesy to offer complimentary offer as apology. I was meant to stay longer there as I did like hotel but whole experience and inconvenience caused by the reception put me completely off from the place. On the end miscommunication again between reception and door man left me waiting outside for the taxi which was never called for me .on the first place. The woman standing outside the hotel (God knows what her role is there ? ) lied in front of me to the doorman that she spoke about me waiting for taxi which we knew its not the case as she completely ignored us and the doorman apologised for her . I am very dissatisfied , my time in there was ruined and I lost enjoyment to stay longer in Beverly Hills . I have stayed in many countries in Four Season Hotels and customer service in this one was the worst I have ever experienced. I want to make people aware what they might experience . Hotel is very nice and food lovely but customer service not near the 5*

Hong KongFirst of all, we stayed in a King suite for almost 2 weeks. Some staffs, not all, seem not really like to serve Asian. One of the staff (I believe he is a bell boy in the valet area) did make fun of my husband, which I saw in my eyes. We were trying to be polite, it doesn't mean we are fool. My husband went to the spa, and he felt he was interrogated by the staffs there, so he walked away in the middle of the massage. To be fair, staffs in the reception areas were very helpful, however, only one or two instance did ruined our impression of the hotel. Also, the hotel double charged our parking fee for one night. Only find it out when we check the bill afterward.
The room is clean and spacious, the location is great.
