How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

very clean rooms. they have body wash and shampoo dispensers in the shower and hand soap/ body lotion by the sink. Fridge/microwave. Perfect spot to stay at if you are exploring Solvang area

Breakfast was a little underwhelming having only pastries, drinks, and instant oatmeal, but it was delicious. The floor in our room felt dirty under our bare feet. We decided to use house shoes and socks to make up for it.
Amenities were more than adequate. Grounds were well kept. Breakfast was good. Room was nice.

We stay here every time we visit Solvang. The staff is always helpful and friendly. It's a great place for families. We love the pool, spa and restaurant (next door). They have a bar-b-que for use by guests. We enjoy the continental breakfast with fresh pastries from a bakery in Solvang. There's a putting green and corn hole set up. There are also outdoor fire pits. It's only fifty minutes from Pismo Beach. Overall, we highly recommend staying here.

I wish I’d known the iconic restaurant it’s a “part of” was closing for the two days I was there.
The check in staff was very friendly and accommodating. He quickly moved me to the other side of the Inn because the people next door had a yapping dog (even though there was a no pet policy). There was a quaint Inn vibe, yet updated , that I prefer to boring chains. I like parking at my door and feeling safe. The room was spacious with a sliding glass door open to a courtyard. There was a gazebo where morning coffee and pastries were served.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room was also a good size and had a small fridge and coffee maker. Continental breakfast with coffee and some danishes was available in the morning.

The location worked well. We were up the road a bit in Los Alamos for a wedding and it was just a 15 min away. The room was a nice size and the front desk staff was very friendly even at 11pm❤️

Bathroom door lock didn’t work - that’s it - no biggie 😅
The property is very nice…centrally located, near restaurants and shops, staff was very friendly and helpful - they offered coupons for discounts at near by food places….rooms was clean and spacious….what I loved the most was able to walk right outside their garden/ patio and also the super cute gazebo with free breakfast in the morning - had a great time and wonderful stay - really no complaints - good rates and only 10 mins away from Solvang

Great value for the price. Liked the courtyard and ghazebo in center. put-put golf, firepits are all nice and add to the ambience and comfort. although not in Solvang, which was our interest, but very close and only a few minutes drive. Loved staying here.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and they have housekeeping everyday without request which is so nice. There’s mini golf, corn hole, grills, pool, and hot tub.
