Nice outlook to the water and mountains, very friendly and helpful staff including transfer from and to the ferry terminal. Close to restaurants cafes supermarket etc. Nice breakfast

The space was nice, clean, and very comfortable. We had access to Netflix. The continental breakfast was great, and had good protein options. There wasn't much open in town, as we came through in winter, but it was close to the open restaurant and folks in town were welcoming and helpful. Overall, it was a great stay.

The location was excellent near harbor and the car rental was onsite. The Beds were excellent!! Deenah and Christine were extremely friendly,helpful and accommodating in everything!

At first we were assigned a room with one double bed in a small room on the lower level, while we've asked for two beds at reservation time months ago, after we pointed this out to reception, we got a much better room, roomier and more comfortable, two beds, and located at street level, we were satisfied with the service.

Breakfast provided before we got on the road saved us a lot of time.

Great location, comfortable room, good facilities and lovely staff. Continental breakfast was also delicious with lots of different options. Staff went the extra mile to ensure we made our ferry, Haines seems to be full of kind and helpful people like this!

The staff went out of their way way to connect us with the ferry to Juneau and they let us leave our car in the parking lot while we were away. Fantastic place with beautiful views. Tha k you to the staff and owner!

Overnight lights left on interfered with appreciation of dawn over the lake.

Teri the housekeeper, Kathi the registrar, Greg the driver were all absolutely super and treated us like family friends. Teri, especially, is the hardest working, most conscientious housekeeper I have ever encountered. The view from our was just incredible!

Town is what it is so not sure how to improve. Cruise lines seem to make the difference. We were not cruise people. So stayed longer to hike and enjoy the driving to Canada... and the Yukon.

we liked the view but we were restricted from sitting on the deck overlooking the bay because of work being done on the stairs to the deck. The room was ok and comfortable enough. We appreciated the car rental and the shuttle to and from the airport and fast ferry. That was convenient. The hotel is cental to downtown which means walking distance to restuarants, bars and shops. Two hkes on the two mountains were great.

The view from the property is awesome! Majestic, snow topped mountains are visible from just about every point on the property. This is accentuated by its location overlooking the bay.

Room had no AC but a fan was provided. Simply had to leave door and window open to refresh the room - it wasn’t summer yet though. Walls were thin but guests seemed aware and talked quietly.

The location and the view were the main two selling points! Beautiful view! And located close to the Main Street and a few restaurants. Very nice crew working there. Bed was comfortable and room had a fan and no AC. Continental breakfast was simple and good. You could park by your door to load and unload.

Even though the motel was older, it had been updated and even included some items not really expected. Super clean rooms, nice linens. Spotless bathroom.
