Restaurant/bar was understaffed which was frustrating and caused excess wait times.

Loved the view from our room and the bed in the window. Room was small but very clean, stylish and efficient. We really enjoyed the location and atmosphere of the hotel. Teen liked all the digital features and lighting.

Such a great visit to DC. Thank you! My daughter and I were exploring DC and showing her American Univ and had so much fun. Hotel and staff were fantastic.

What more could you want? Maybe a bit more space than a cargo container? How about a coffee/tea pot in the room so you don't have to go downstairs, wait in line and spend $ before you can relax for the night or wake up in the morning. And, no, there is no room service. The room is optimized for one person. The king bed has 3 walls around it so either one or both of you will have to crawl out of the bed. Also note that there is no dedicated spot for a car to stop outside to unload luggage, so you better be able to jump out quickly with all your belongings in city traffic.

CitizenM is set up to be trendy for the young professional road warrior. Good internet, high tech rooms, a bar, breakfast and a gym. The location for this hotel is awesome, everything is clean and the staff is friendly. I like the decor and the hi tech room controls.

Parking situation is not great. Parking spots in front of the hotel are free, but its very limited. The parking garage next ot the entrance DOES NOT belong to the hotel and is very expensive. Better to park on the street. Free at night until 7am.

Cozy rooms, even though a bit small. Just enough space for one, max a couple. If you're planning to just come back to the hotel to sleep, then its great! Beds are very comfy and spacious. the lightshow in the bathroom is fun. In walking distance to Independence Avenue, Smithsonian and Capitol Hill.

It was a bit pricey, but probably because it was during the Cherry Blossom festival. I would definitely stay here again, and maybe come after the festival, when it's a little less pricey.

I didn't have the breakfast because I didn't have the time, but it sure smelled good as I was walking out. The staff was very helpful and always with a smile, which made a difference. It was a perfect room for one person, compact, but everything was there and very comfortable. The location was perfect, near the metro and the capitol mall.

The room was tiny. Only one person at a time could pass. There pillows were too large and too firm. My neck ached as a result. Small item but important to me: no English breakfast or earl grey tea was available at the breakfast buffet.

The modern architecture was very appealing. The bar and common area were comfortable and decorative. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The bed was against the wall so we had to climb over each other to get out.

I liked the location, that you could control the lights to make them bright or dim, and that you could use Chromecast to watch your own stuff. The grab and go food was good.

There is a scent piped in through the air vents. I found it unpleasant and way too strong upon check in, and no way to open a window to air it out. It seemed to get better after awhile, I probably just got used to it. If you are particularly sensitive, it may not be the place for you.

Super clean, comfy beds, big window, great shower. Walking distance to most sights on the National Mall. Quiet neighborhood.
