The only thing I didn’t like was that there was only one roach in my room. I ended up killing it and that was the only time I saw a roach in the room. I was very skeptical about sleeping on the bed because there could’ve been more roaches in the room, or even bedbugs.

This is a pretty descent hotel. I came to Modesto to DJ at a club in downtown and the location is pretty close by to where I was staying. The amenities were pretty cool. The room itself was awesome! I even had the chance to swim in the pool and try out the breakfast here. Not too shabby.

The pillows are all flat, at the end of their life. I had to check and make sure there were ACTUALLY pillows in the cases. The do not disturb sign was also missing.

The room was clean and very close to my family, which was the reason for my trip. The area is close to shopping and food options . Breakfast was good and free parking is a pleasant bonus.

The scramble eggs are too well done.

It is centrally located. Nothing is more than 20 minutes away from where we had to go, including the historic Hallway is brightly lit with windows. Room is also brightly lit if I wanted it to be.

My only complaint would be that I like my room to be dark when I sleep. Our room was facing the parking lot which was nice because we could see our car, but the window curtains were so thin and the thick ones only covered a third of the window. At night the bright light from the parking lot was shining through our window. Good thing I had safety pins and was able to bring part of the thick curtains together so it would get a bit darker. Other than that everything else was great.

Room was very clean. They have shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. Coffee pot in there as well as a microwave and mini fridge. staff was real friendly. We even got to check in sooner than the Check in time with no additional cost. Location was very convenient for us.

One thing they could change, and one thing they can't. The thing they could change, is the price. I think it should be a little lower, because of the other thing i didn't like.... The rooms are very small. With 2 double beds in the room. they are very close to each other and just as close to the walls.

I like the cleanliness and how friendly the staff is. I like that they have the breakfast included.

I sized down on the room and didn't make a difference in prices, should have just kept the room I originally had. Hallway smelled like cigarettes

The parking is great very spacious, well lit area and close to the market for snacks, the breakfast was actually really good and the waffles were delicious. The only thing is I reserved a room with 2 beds then sized down to 1 bed but didn't make a difference in price I should of just kept the room with 2 beds. The room we got was a little tight on space but looked nice though. And the back entrance smelled like cigarettes and I asked for a non-smoking room. Aside from that the hotel was actually good, service was great. People were really nice, I'd stay there again.

The room was VERY SMALL, the other guest across from us had a dog that barked semi regularly which wasn't pleasant.

Two tv remote that was difficult to operate, and no vending machines….. and since I booked through this site, I was charged for two bottles of water by the front desk. Really not a big deal, will remember to bring my own next time.

The property is in bad shape. The hallway carpeting was very dirty and stained. The hallways are also not air conditioned. There was trash in the stairways. There were many areas of broken concrete around the building. The property needs painting in a bad way and the stucco is in need of repair in many places. Two of the lamps in my room had broken lamp shades. All in all looks seedy.
