How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The complimentary breakfast is not ready before 6AM, which for some of us who had to leave to use the shuttle at that time due to there schedule to get to Mayo Clinic. Both days we stayed were very hot & humid & the shuttle had no air conditioning so needless to say my husband who has a medical condition does not do well with the heat & therefore was very ill the 1st night after we returned. Having a complimentary shuttle to Mayo was 1 reason we chose to stay at this hotel. The last day we decided since it was still hot when we left the clinic around noon we paid for a cab to take us back because we couldn’t do another trip without air. Another expense we didn’t need or count on. The driver of the shuttle was very friendly & felt bad because the owner of the shuttle was not willing to fix it which is terrible for the patrons especially the sick ones to have to suffer even more. The shuttle was older and also needed shocks. Very disappointing hot & bumpy ride.
The beds were comfortable, pillows were ok for the size. The place looked very clean, people were friendly.

Although it was very clean, there were areas that showed wear and were not 100% clean. The location was a little further from the Mayo.
The layout was great. The extra sofa area was a big plus. The beds were very comfortable. The built-in shampoo/conditioner dispensers were a big plus. The coffee maker was nice. Overall, the property was very clean. Hallway carpets are brand new. The shower pressure was nice. The pool and jacuzzi looked nice. There is an exercise room.

It would have been better if booking.com would have booked both rooms thT I paid for. I had to pay for an additional room when I arrived because I paid you for the room and. Oozed it and you did not book the room or pay the hotel I got 2 roo.s for the price of 3amd booking.com ended up with my money NEVER AGAIN CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS NO HELP AT ALL! IT ALMOST RUINED A FAMILY TRIP WHAt a rip off!
It was a great location and stop for relaxation and swimming while traveling with my grandkids

Under renovations which would have been nice to know. Breakfast was really not ideal. Parking was limited.
Location is great. We enjoyed the pool with our grandkids.

Could not find the hotel covered up the sign did not tell me it change to holiday inn express,l drove around for hr n half looking for the hotel after traveling 3 hrs to get ther they had no vending n no ice sad they did not say this when l called to verify my booking ,n when l was lost,loved the rooms but don't know if l want to come back cause no vending not giving me any information that the hotel changed names n lm not a local ,unhappy customer

Booked because of indoor pool for the grand babies and hyped them up on getting to swim. Get there and pool is unavailable. Should have stated so before time of check in. After checkin asked about pool hours only to find out it was closed. Disappointing!!!

It is undergoing some renovations so things haven’t quite smoothed out yet.
Handy to Mayo Clinic. The hotel participates in the shuttle service to the clinic.
