How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Again - breakfast is important. That should be addressed.
Breakfast was supposed to be in a bag - a croissant and a granola bar. What I was given was a sausage and egg croissant. They were out of granola bars. I am a vegetarian, so had nothing to eat and had to go somewhere for breakfast. I think better breakfast options could be served, even if in a bag!

Was cleaned
The receptionist lady didn’t greet us when we came to check out, just concerned by the paperwork. On check in, they said breakfast will be served in the morning, but they didn’t No woman cover hair protector at the shower time No soap holder in the shower room In general, the hotel was cleaned

Could barely use or let water run in sink because it was stopped up. Could not take shower comfortably or at all because it became a pool; also stopped up. Entry door to the room did not lock. Room at end of the 3rd floor hallway near outer stairwell so I did not feel completely safe.

Cleanliness
The location was great. But not sure if it is done with upgrades or still in the process the paint job was lacking no towel hooks in the bathroom the towels were old and really spotty the sheets didn’t seem fresh. But after almost 9 hours of travel and time constraints I couldn’t check anywhere else.

Saw 2 roaches. Which means there were 50 more that I didn’t see… The room was quite nice. I was surprised to see roaches. No DND sign in room. Had to go to lobby where he had to find one to use. Id stayed at a Microtel Inn before where policy was that housekeeping didnt enter at all during your stay unless specifically requested so with a missing DND sign, I figured policy was the same here. But nope. No sign, they’d walk right in next morning. And in this case, walking in would be super easy because final issue: Swing bar lock on door was broken off. Front desk attendant said they were replacing them so that’s why they’d been removed. Their purpose is security. Should not remove unless immediately replacing & should not issue the room without it. That was actually pretty odd. My review, however, is based on the roaches. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and have never had that experience. I can let a lot slide but not roaches.
Nice room. Blackout curtains which I always appreciate. Comfy beds. Nice shower. Loved the low light options in the room. Nice location. Quiet.

Perhaps each room could have a comforter on their beds. I wasn't sure if that was something that could have been requested or not, I didn't try to do so. Regardless, an amazing hotel to be at!
I loved the breakfast! And the location was in a perfect place based on the areas I had planned with my boyfriend! We had a wonderful time.

it smelled good until i got to the room and it smelt like cigarette smoke which is it what is it but i didn’t like it
it wasn’t dirty around the property and it’s around everything!! so if u hungry there r places right there for u! and the place was pretty nice it’s smells good in there

The desk chaair was threadbare with foam showing through the fabric, it needs to be disposed of or recovered. The bathroom sink was small with no room to place your toiletries.
It appeared that renovations were in progress. There was tarps over the windows for painting the exterior and the rooms appeared to be recently updated and painted.

We had killed 3 spiders and one was huge! The shower never really got hot, it was warm. No hot breakfast except for a waffle.
The hotel was in the middle of everything which was easy travel for us. The staff was amazing and super nice. Parking was easy. Check in and out was easy.
