The unit was well appointed with everything we needed for our short stay. It was very clean and well presented and though a lower ground situation was well aired and fresh with a good aircon unit. Location near JFK was brilliant. Short Uber trip.

We had some difficulty getting a taxi which didn't turn up and a local lady Maeve actually took us to the airport - she was an angel! Some bowls for breakfast and a couple of USB chargers would be useful. Very happy with our stay would recommend this place.

The information about access to the property and use of facilities was excellent - it appartment had all the basics and the property is in a great location for JFK airport - the local community were very friendly. Its was excellent value for money.

The room was clean and comfortable however being in the basement I could hear footsteps at the main floor late at night that slightly bothers me on my rest otherwise all good.

As this is a basement property, occasionally footsteps could be heard overhead; however, this was not overly bothersome at all and didn’t affect sleep.

The accommodation was very well located for JFK airport; this was ideal for us as we had an early flight to catch (a taxi journey was about $20 and took about 15 minutes). It was easy to find, being only a short walk from the train station, and the residential area in which it’s located felt safe and quiet. The host gave clear instructions on how to access the property, and these were easy to follow. The accommodation itself was super spacious, very clean, and had plenty of amenities, such as: a large fridge (stocked with plenty of bottled water), a big tv, kitchen appliances, good air-con, and many toiletries. There were only two of us, but the room could have easily accommodated an extra couple of people. We were only there briefly, but would have happily stayed longer. Indeed, the host was very friendly and easy to contact; I accidentally left an expensive item behind which they are kindly assisting with! I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay, especially if one needs to be close to the airport.

Super easy to get to from JFK airport. The bed was really comfy, apartment nice and spacious. Host John let me check out late when my flight got moved. Would recommend.

Doorway entrance was not clean, the entrance door was difficult to open and close, and the noise from the tenants above while they walked on the floor above, kept me awake. The entrance way can use a power wash and coat of paint. Also the baseboards in the apartment and around the entry door can use a coat of paint

I really can’t say there’s one thing that I didn’t like about the property. Oh yes, there is maybe sweeten low for my unsweetened iced tea lol.

I especially like the fact that it’s not a hotel atmosphere or a motel atmosphere that is like a little mini vacation for one night very private very calm quiet the property owner is very nice and very accommodating

There's really nothing not to like. The only thing I could possibly have any concern about at all would be that it would be nice to have power outlets on either side of the bed. That's not really even a complaint and we made do so I wouldn't even call it a complaint at all.

This place is fantastic. You can't really tell unless you are there but the place is huge. Easily sleeps four people with no problem at all z and possibly more. It's basically the entire floor of a house. The location is great, like 10 minutes from JFK airport and a 2 minute walk to the Laurelton rail stop. There's ear plugs for some reason, but I have no idea why. The place was totally quiet while we were there. I looked online and several trains came by at night buti never heard them and I'm a very light sleeper. John really goes out of his way to accommodate and things like coffee and tea make this place even better. From a value standpoint this place has hotels beat hands down. I can only hope that the next time I'm in the area this place is available for rent.
