The front steps and landing right outside the door were icy.

Thermostat set at 50 on arrival. While I understand value of conserving energy, it wasn't a " warm welcome "

Wanted two bedrooms for our party of 3. Preferred a place with kitchen and living room to 2 hotel rooms. This is a rather off the beaten path location, but we were in the area for a nearby wedding. Without the wedding would not have traveled here The hosts provided helpful information on the area, especially for restaurant recommendations.

A washer is a nice to have though not a necessity. My husband would have liked a coffee grinder (though that’s definitely not a necessity as well).

The small comforting details were accommodated. We love to see blackout curtains and plenty of towels and washcloths (including kitchen towels and sponge). The property had everything we could have needed. And the location was a wonderful change of pace just right for relaxing and unwinding.

It was exactly as described! Cozy and Charming! Just enough seclusion for the peace and tranquility I was needing.

The cell service was weak, but the owner made sure we were aware of this prior to our arrival. Wi-Fi information was also clearly communicated by the owner to ensure we had a means of communication. The front porch light was not working but there was also a motion activated light in the driveway.

I like that it was private, quiet and warm. There was silverware, misc pots and pans, plates cups, etc. This made it easy because we didn’t have to worry about basic needs. There were towels, sheets pillows and blankets provided which made things so easy!

The house was clean and cozy, accessible but private and quiet. It worked well for two adults and two kids (who liked the upstairs bedroom). We were there for a weekend in the winter, and the kids loved spotting the animal tracks (squirrels, deer, possibly a bobcat) in the snow around the house and in the woods.

Could use a full-length mirror in the downstairs bedroom. An extra set of towels would be also be good. And maybe a couple of outdoor chairs. But, really, everything else was perfect!

The Host, Bilen and Marc, were wonderful - reachable and responsive and really nice! We had absolutely no issues with the key code and instructions about the property and arrival/departure were clear and simple. The cottage was clean and uncluttered. Furniture is like new - love the mid-century modern pieces. Nearby destinations were easily accessible from the location. Bed is comfy and area is quiet. We didn't use the kitchen, but it was well-stocked with all you need to cook and eat and was sparkling clean. Would recommend.

Microwave would have come in handy. Not much of a decor---understandable, as a rental but kind of drab. Lack of towels, one per customer was a bit stingy for a 3 day stay---one washcloth, no hand towel, no towels or dishcloth in kitchen or bathroom. Very pricey for all that was available. No roof over front door, or porch light, left us stranded in the pouring rain at night with door code on paper in hand which quickly deteriorated in the pouring rain, leaving us in the dark and totally soaked thru until we could find code on phone and enter house. Phone soaked as well. Very upsetting and frustrating. Get a porch light!!!!!!!!! Felt it was overpriced for location. Although the name says Livingstone Manor, it is miles away and actually in White Sulphur---wch isn't a bad place, but name is misleading.

for 2 people or young adults the house could work fine. not for young familkes.the house was dark, needs some reparations as it is not very well insolated and incects come and go as they please. also very busy and noisie street. not kid friendly. i believe it is over prise for what it offer. this said if you are only going for a weekend it is a nice winter get away.

we like exploring the near towns and hikes.

There really was nothing to complain about.

The house is very cute and beds were very comfortable. It was very conveniently located for restaurants and the Bethel Woods Arts Center which is why we were in the area.
