Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe room I was in needed a furniture upgrade. The room across the hall was certainly nicer and appeared to be more comfortable than my room.
I liked the location and the private bathroom, also the ease of parking with the in and out ability. It was worth the value.

United KingdomWhile it was clean, the hotel is clearly old & falling apart. This does give it character though, clearly was something to see back in the day. The downstairs shared shower is small - Although it looks like it was refurbished recently. It was clean & water pressure was good. So it's not really a complaint - Just expect to be able to sleep safe but don't expect any luxury.
Google/Expedia/Opodo/Booking.Com reviews are all over the place..!! I struggled to get a real idea of Hotel Del Flores. I hope my review clears up everything for you. Really wanted to stay in the area but everything was out of my price range. Hotel Del Flores was perfect for the price. You cannot compare a budget hotel to a 4 or 5 star hotel that costs double & expect the same quality. I had concerns from reviews; bugs, was it safe, would my door lock. No bugs, absolutely safe area (even to walk at night), clean sheets, clean room, hot shower. Yes the hotel is old, yes my bed creaked. If the room is clean & safe, who cares? I paid peanuts to what it would have been elsewhere. 5 minutes walk from the Beverly Hills sign, 6 to Whole Foods, 5 to a bus that takes you to Hollywood Boulevard or Santa Monica... The area was perfect for a non-driver. Of course it's not a place you'd spend a lot of time in your room (but the front balcony is nice to sit at), it feels like staying at your grandma's house. But all the people moaning, they really need a reality check as to what they paid for. I used money saved staying here, to sightsee and pay for meals/drinks around LA. It really was a no-brainer. It was super safe, I went walking around Beverly Hills at night, everything is lit up, clean, Library, City Hall, gardens, all within reach. Hotel Del Flores isn't a place for a romantic getaway or a luxury treat - But if you're down to earth & your friend/partner is up for it, you have a cheap place to stay in an incredible location. Staff were nice to me too. If I had to come back to Beverly Hills, I would probably stay here again.

Spaina little fridge in the room for personal use will be perfect, ther is a big fridge at the ground floor for everyone but I did'n t use it. there is also a kitchen that can be used by everyone
The hotel is located in Beverly Hills so the position is great, Buses very close and Uber and Lyft available everywhere. the people at reception is absolutely marvellous, the quality of furniture and all the building is a little "vintage" but , since the life is absolutely more and more expensive in LA that in Spain (where I live) I cannot claim about the price. Room was very clean and no noise during the night. I strongly reccomend this place where to stay

United KingdomStain on bed covers, room dates, furniture dates, small shared bathroom, lack of atmosphere
Fantastic location, that goes without saying. The room facilities were old outdated and don’t work to the best standard (sink taps in room didn’t let out much water and furniture was very dated). Staff were friendly enough, quite friendly by the end. Check in did seem a little cold but I think that might just be a cultural difference as the lady who runs the place is German and quite direct. After check in she was absolutely lovely! Front of building is lovely and so is the lobby seating it also gets lots of sun to the tables out front

FranceWe already knew what to expect because we had read all the reviews, which are pretty accurate. - Old rusty hotel, could definitely use some remodeling. It wasn’t the cleanest, but we were not the most demanding, and it was decent enough to sleep. Bed sheets and towels were clean. - What stood out most when we got there was how rude and cold the lady at the reception was. The first thing that was said was “Wear a mask” before even saying hello. That being said, we were always out so did not have to interact with the employees there. I was shocked that it seemed a lot to ask when we asked if we could leave our luggage at the hotel because our flight was in the evening. The lady at the reception (another lady) hesitated and asked how big our backpacks were.. I’ve travelled around the world and this is the first time this happens. All in all, it was the cheapest thing we found that had a perfect location. We were satisfied and knew what to expect.
The only positive thing was the location, which was perfect. A block away from Rodeo drive, in a very safe neighborhood. We wanted to be well located, and just needed a decent place to sleep.

United StatesA cool little fraternity home type feel place for the budget conscious. They do offer in room full bath but I opted for the shared bath, shower which is a 1 person at a time private bath or shower-seperate entry. Located close to what i consider the little Italy of Beverly hills. It ll be my place to stay for business travel.

United StatesI wish that cable TV channels were provided. The toilet seats should have been bigger. Lastly, it seemed as if the water temperature would stay the same no matter how much I tried adjusting it for showering.
I really liked that the hotel was close to a bunch of nice spots such as the Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills Park. The cost per night and days to use the parking pass were great.

Fantastic location. Basic but the price was cheap mismatched furniture and sink in room not bathroom a bit weird. Communal kitchen handy. More like a hostel than a hotel. But clean. They emptied the trash changed the towels and made the bed daily which I’ve not had in much fancier places

United StatesIt was how I expected reading other reviews. Kind of old, not so clean, staff could be nicer. I'm not demanding so wasn't a huge deal for me, but I did find stains on my covers/towels and a dead cockroach next to the bed. Bathtub and shower head were crusty, so little water came out. The bathroom shade didn't close and in general window screens were broken, I only felt safe because of the good neighborhood. Most of the furniture was chipped, carpet felt dirty. But they did throw my trash and made my bed everyday. Maybe the lady at the reception was having a bad week, but felt rude. Reception hours were random, you call and no one ever answers. I get that price considering the location wasn't bad, but still too expensive for the condition of the hotel.
Over all it worked well for me, the location was perfect, a block away from Rodeo Drive. Safe neighborhood. Price was not so great considering quality of the service, but I don't mind it, the location makes up for everything. When I travel I use hotels just to sleep, planning to stay outside most of the time, so it worked for me. A plus is that there's a shared fridge, so you can store a little grocery.
