The 10th floor is disgusting. It seems they are renewing the hotel bottom up, and only the rooms on the 10th floor were partially renewed. The hallway is moldy and durty.

The breakfast during working days. The rooms are roomy.

Very dated, smelled like former occupants smoked in the room, not too clean, lights really didn’t work, sketchy neighborhood

Very cheap and good location for price (note: it’s $2.90 per direction to commute to Manhattan)

It is called RAMADA but the sign on hotel is MEADOWLAND VIEW This was really hard to find the hotel on first day. Even google got confused. At least I would expect a specific warning about this. There is quite a long walk (with a slope) to bus station. Breakfast is only few items in a bag... No fruits. There was a safe in the room but not working. Only one elevator works.

Restaurant was closed due to renovation, location of the hotel good for those with a car but to get to NY without your own car you have to take a bus or taxi.

Hotel room was spacious, equipped with a fridge, microwave, TV, hairdryer, free parking. Clean towels and cleaning of the room every day, free tea and coffee at the lobby all day long.

They don’t clean under the beds. The bathroom was clean. I asked for a vacuum but the vacuum didn’t fit under the bed hence the reason no one cleans under there. I was expecting bugs but did not see any.

Clearly this place has been closed for a long time and recently reopened so to be gentle on their process is fair- the elevators are very old and rickety. The facilities are sub-par but clean and functional. The lights flickered or didn’t all work and the place needs some love. But they are going through renovations to improve as they reopen so if you are fair and patient it’s not so bad. For the price to proximity of NY, it works. If you are looking for a safe place to sleep that isn’t a fortune, it’s fine. If you are looking for anything fancy or have high expectations, look elsewhere.

It was very convenient and close to NYC. Otherwise for staying in NJ it is literally right off a highway so not close to anything interesting in Jersey. Jerry city a 20 min drive away. Parking was right beside and big lot so lots of space. The blackout curtains and very quiet space. No surrounding noise. Unlimited coffee/juice in the AM

What they call breakfast is just a paper bag with three pieces of wrapped cookies that you get from the reception. You can make a coffee in a room close to reception but you cannot eat your breakfast there. Lot of noise from outside in the room. Very uncomfortable bad. Shower just fixed on a wall and without a possibility to regulate amount of water and temperature independently. Hotel is hard to find - its name written on the building is completely different from how it is presented on booking.com. Lift sometimes works and sometimes not. Generally it seams rather bleak from both outside and inside. The staff is not very friendly.

Room is very large and includes equipment like kettle. Public transport to New York City available. (The hotel also offers shuttle to Times Square but it departures very late in the morning so I did not use it.)

Noise from room doors when closing.

It was quiet from the streets, but noisy doors banging after people leave or enter their rooms. Had technical issues with elevator. Window glass was broken. Though towels were changed daily, they took away trash from the room daily.

Exceptional value for money, good location, great staff members. That's why I came back:) Staying in Manhattan will cost four times as much, while a 24/7 $3,5 van service will take you there in 15 minutes. A no-brainer for me:)
