We had internal toilet issues that it keep running on and off so it was very annoying we had already been there for 2dys and didn't want to pack all our stuff up and move to another room, mosquito tore us up , the dog owner was not picking up poop so the Flies was surrounding our back door walk out area. I guess they are renovating, we had too many chairs, but for the price we paid what I can you expect..we just dealt with it

I chose this hotel because it stated it had a heated pool and the pool was closed. We were very disappointed because it was too cold to swim at the beach and the website didn't state the pool was closed. I also didn't get a discount for this inconvenience. There was no breakfast, but I don't remember if it stated there was supposed to be any. It was average. I would stay again. Wifi was in and out. Didn't work half of the time.

Parking. Only one spot per room and they tried to charge 50 for a second space. This was only after being asked, they had nothing up front to show this surcharge.

Location was Fantastic. Beds were better than expected and it was very clean.

Outlets didn't work Food stains on wall Dirt and lent hanging from air vent in bathroom The refrigerator was loud due to not sitting eveningly. We had to improvise a shim . Out dated loud heating system

Not enough towels or coffee. No creamers or sugar for the coffee. Someone else's long black hair on the pillows. Little things but that makes a difference.

We stay here regularly in the winter because of the excellent location

The fabric of the chairs should be replace. The check out during winter time would be better late. The current check out time for December is 11 am and the hotel was 50% of its capacity. In general Virginia Beach was at 50 % of its capacity and it is not needed to have a check out at 11.

Even though booking.com states paid in full and specifically states paid "resort" fee. They charge you again when you arrive for resort fee. Previous owners were great. New owners are terrible and ruining property.

There was no breakfast offered. The phone and especially the cradle was filthy. I didn’t want to touch it someone’s face cloth hanging over the shower from previous guest. The freezer was full of frost and discolored.

I liked being right next to the boardwalk. The room was mostly clean, except for what I mentioned above. The girl at the front desk was really nice. I was in a pet friendly room with no carpeting. I understand why but charging $30 per night was a little high in my opinion.

I didn’t like the bathroom because it was falling apart plus it was dirty. I don’t think it’s fair how pricey it is and for the place to not be clean.

Not that I didn't like this place, but things of note: it is an older hotel with minor updates, but clean. No elevator, so be prepared to hump it to the 3rd floor. Parking is a challenge in their lot as spaces were marked when cars were smaller. SUV's & large trucks today take up 2 spaces, therefore limiting the parking and tough to maneuver. Overall, it was fine for me and 2 Grandkids overnight. Wouldn't book a romantic weekend here.

Outdated building, furniture, fixtures, broken air-conditioned, unkempt grass in courtyard and spiders (4 to be exact) found in the room.
