How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Internet connection was terrible. Breakfast starting time(6:30)was inconvenient for early departure. No bathtub(instead a large walk in shower). A bottle of water in our room was $8/bottle.
Very comfortable bed and pillows. Complimentary snack at early evening. Free airport shuttle(the driver was very nice)

Very well located at Logan Airport and with excellent bus connections to the airport and the Boston T (subway). Good hotel with good service.

The location is excellent. Close to the airport with a shuttle connection and close to the waterfront in East Boston. If you have some time between the flights it offers a very nice are for a walk at the water front with interesting restaurants.

Did not have any dislikes. The hotel fit out needs and was very close to the airport. We have stayed here before and will do it again.
The room was great. Clean, quiet and peaceful. There was plenty of room and having a separation of the sleeping area from the living area worked out great. Really liked being close to the airport and the hotel transfer to the airport.

Expensive to stay here. Only valet parking at $60 per day.
Breakfast had lots of choices. Food staff were very hard working. Although near the airport, the rooms were very quiet.

Coffee was ok. Would be better if different add in options of creamer. Items were no replenished at breakfast. Evening reception would be nice if cocktails were at least at happy hour prices. Room needs better lighting. and was tight with 5 people and really no where to open up suitcases and store.
Breakfast was good but some items were not replenished while i was eating there. We had to ask for plates and cups for water. I liked that you had a shuttle to airport that was helpful. I do like the evening reception

The pool was too cold and the pool room temperature was too cold. Drinks were a little pricey.
Beautiful property and the staff was excellent. The maintenance staff was also very accommodating in the evening.

Had to wait a little for the shuttle. But it wasn't bad was just in a rush.

I really liked that their breakfast was open for a good portion of the morning. It also was a very good variety of food and beverages. Highlight was their omelet area. I loved the proximity to the airport and metro. They have several shuttles. Getting picked up and dropped off was the best experience at any hotel I have ever been to.

The fitness center has a Peleton bike that has we broken and/or under repair our last 2 visits, but was fixed for this visit! I hope they continue to maintain all equipment as it's a very nice workout room
Great location to stay while visiting my son in East Boston (walking distance to his apt). Also, the airport shuttle to/from the airport is wonderful although the Tunnel into the city is closed on weekends. Rooms are always clean and spacious. Breakfast and "happy hour" in the afternoons are a big hit with us.

The toilet in the room ran continuously. After 2 full days of walking around, my husband got a painful blister. We called the hotel for a ride from the airport and were told we could walk. After 3 calls and nearly 40 minutes we finally got a shuttle. Yes the airport was within walking distance but we felt like we shouldn't have to beg or explain why we needed a shuttle. We were charged for 2 nights of parking when we only parked 1 night. Tub drained slow.
Breakfast omelet bar was wonderful. Nice clean room. Loved that the hotel was within walking distance of bus and train transportation.
