It's a cold walk to the pool, but we are happy to be able to use the pool nonetheless.

The clerk that checked us in was so welcoming and wonderful. I believe his name was Michael. The cabin is also great! We love that it is like a tiny house away from the hotel.

Front desk staff at checkin (500pm) was curt, short and unfriendly. He is not very patient with guests with disability.

Bed was comfortable. Not a worn out mattress. Maintenance staff friendly and accommodating. Refrigerator that stays cold.

There was a serious omission on your part as to the checkin. You gave an address for the property. It was for a motel, not for the Explorer cabins. There was NO explanation that this motel was the check-in for the Explorer Cabins. We drove around in circles looking for an office for the Explorer Cabins, finally going into the motel to ask for help. Very frustrating. A very bad start to our stay. I’ll avoid using your site in the future.

    There was no breakfast.

Slow drains for both the sinks in the kitchen and the bathroom. Kind of noisy in the bedroom when other people are using the bathroom (the sound of the exhausting fan I guess?). The bed is not very comfortable (but I can’t tell whether the mattress is too soft or too firm for me, or is it just the pillows are not supportive enough…). I just know that I felt back/neck pain every morning I woke up. The black bear plush they put in one of the bedroom costs $25 if you take it (you can buy the same plush with a cheaper price in any gift shops nearby).

The kitchen of the two-bedroom suites came with everything we need. Dish soap, a sponge, dishwasher, four large plates, four small plates, four bowls, four mugs/glasses, utensils, knives (which is very dull), cutting board, one large pot, one small pot…etc. There were also poker cards, monopoly (national park edition), UNOs to play with. The place is very neat and clean. We loved the fireplace a lot. We were able to park our car in front of our cabin. It was a nice cabin experience in winter!

Our family spent a wonderful week away enjoying your property and all that West Yellowstone had to offer. The breakfast offered was something to look forward to with a great variety of options and stayed well supplied. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean everything was kept. Beds were so comfortable and we all slept sound each night with no worries or distractions. Such a peaceful hidden gem with a super kind staff. We definitely look forward to returning in the future and will book with you again.

Last two nights were outstanding. Room was an upgrade for no additional cost and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Close proximity to Yellowstone National Park

3 night stay. First night cabin had shared wall and neighbors were loud. Asked to be moved next morning and staff was indifferent and not helpful. Kept saying you booked with third party (Booking) and there’s nothing we can do. Called Booking and lodged complaint. Booking took care of the problem.

We had a two queen bed unit and it was one of the only cabins that is a "double" cabin which would be wonderful for families traveling together needing two cabins as it had an adjoining door. But we were not with the people staying in the adjoining cabin and the headboards were against the wall of the adjoining unit. They stayed up till 2am laughing and talking (not exceptional loud, but loud enough that we could not go to sleep). Again, this was one of only a couple double cabins, if we had been in one of the stand alone units it would have been a perfect experience.

The set up being a cabin made it feel like being in Yellowstone. Also the fire pit in the courtyard with the s'more bags in the room was icing on top.

It wasn't an issue but I could see how it would be that there could be more availability for parking, especially in the winter with snow, it is not ideal to have to park elsewhere and walk.

I liked the quaintness of the cabins and how you were only around 6 or so other cabins. The cabin itself was spacious enough for 4 people and was really nice to have 2 separate rooms.

The main hotel would not let the cabin guests have the free breakfast they served in the main hotel lobby because of “space issues”. You would think when you’re spending more money to stay in the cabins than the hotel that they would let you have the free breakfast also. Or they would provide you something else that was comparable. Also the TV should have internet connectivity.

The cabins were very spacious and comfortable. The early season snow was a bonus and made the setting more beautiful. The location was minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance.

A few minor suggestions: - Make it clear in the reservation communications that check in for the Explorer Cabins is at a nearby sister hotel - Clarify that check out at the hotel is not required, the key can be left in the room - Call out specifics for the use of the fireplace as the only heater - the fireplace is way in the front of the narrow and long cabin, but it wasn't clear if I could leave the fireplace on all night or not. The heat doesn't really make it to the bedrooms very well but there were extra blankets

The cabin description and photos matched what I saw online - the cabin was well appointed and set up. I booked only the day before so I got a cabin with two bedrooms and only needed one. However, the price was great for the cabin, parking and easy access between the two. I appreciated the coffee set up and use of a small stove. Grocery stores and restaurants are very close by as well.
