It wasn't handicapped friendly. Too many stairs and the toilet was too low.

Great breakfast. Friendly owner and staff. We stayed here on our way to see the total eclipse. They put out breakfast early and to-go bags for guests who wanted to leave early. We would definitely come back here.

Our bed was very uncomfortable so we didn’t sleep much at all. Maybe the larger bedrooms have different mattresses. I hope so as we would definitely like to return in spring or summer!

Very quaint historic New England property on a beautiful lake. Loved the games and fire in the common room.

The Inn is gorgeous, cozy, clean, and full of art. They truly take care of every decoration detail. The homemade breakfast is delicious- I love the angel biscuits. Let them know about food restrictions (GF) or special diets (V/VG), and they will adapt their menu for you.

We loved everything here in this Inn. Far exceeded expectations. Breakfast selection was wonderful and amazingly beautiful dining room. Tea/Coffee 24hrs a day. Room and whole Inn was magical. Host Dennis was available and informative while also allowing guests to explore and enjoy the surroundings in peace.

The nearest restaurant is a drive but that's not uncommon in America.

We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The breakfasts were some of the best we've ever had. The location is beautiful on the lake.

I can't fault it. It is traditional and creaky, but that just adds to its charm.

Warm and welcoming hosts. Comfortable beds. Excellent bathrooms. Every morning, there is a homemade and brilliant breakfast available. Would love to go again during the summer, to take advantage of the lakes and facilities.

Bathroom/shower a little dated and temperamental but worked OK eventually. As above, we liked it, but "breakfast time" wouldnt suit all wanting to do their own thing.

The location on the lake was idyllic with the owner providing canoes and paddleboats to get on the water, aswell as loungers at the waters edge. Although initially apprehensive about the strict short "breakfast is served from 8 to 9" policy, we ended up actually enjoying the fact that all guests were seated together around large tables at the same time such that everyone ended up talking and interacting together - a real get away from constant "phone and tablet silence". Breakfast interaction meant guests knew each other in the evenings and chatted in the lovely communal living rooms, aided by bowls of popcorn appearing if people were around.

Adorable inn was exactly what we wanted in our New England vacation. The owners were very nice and very helpful and attentive. I wish the weather would have been nicer so that we could have taken advantage of the lake. They had kayaks and bicycles available with appropriate safety gear.

It is really inaccessible (but this maybe what you want!) and so you need to have a car. The nearest food is over an hour walk away and there is no shop, although bikes were available to cycle around.

This was a really relaxing stay and the place had a very homely feel! Loved the free kayaks and SUPs to use on the lake and the area was beautiful. The hosts were really accommodating and went above and beyond to help me out when I could not find a away to get to my next destination in the absence of taxis in the area.

I loved everything about the property. Some people might find it not modern enough, but I loved the rusticity!

A beautiful location on a lake. Very quaint and old Inn. It was comfortable and inviting with a great New England atmosphere. The breakfast served every morning was 1st class! Not your typical B&B fare.
