There was almost nothing we didn't like. If I have to name one thing then it is the rather small locker for storing clothes.

The Inn has a high service grade. We got an upgrade, they have free to grab coffee and freshly baked cookies in the afternoon. Also their staff knows what true service is, amongst others C.J, and they keep the rooms and facilities very clean. Finally, we loved the free to use bikes.

Loud works (sledgehammer / percussion tools / loud workers) were in progress in reception building and around the whirlpool/ laundry room / pool area. Laundry and whirlpool were thus closed, unfortunately! We were planning on having a nap before heading out for the evening, but it was too loud. Nothing indicated these works when booking. They’re improving/ renovating. When these will be done, the Franciscan will be even nicer!

Lovely property, well tended to. It’s organised like a motel with 2 or 3 small buildings with their parking lots and small patios / courtyards. Nice!Friendly staff (nice welcome by BEN!). Though they seemed a bit overwhelmed by the significant renovation works going on in the property. I get it, renovations can be chaotic. Our room looked like if had been renovated very recently. Brand new! Absolutely clean and comfortable! The interior design is minimalistic but functional and cosy. The furniture does not look very sturdy and expensive, but it does the job and I felt like at home. Beautiful bathroom, even if a bit small. Plenty of pressure and warm water. Nicest fluffy towels! Our suite (free upgrade) did not have much of a view, but plenty of light and room. Excellent bed, like sleeping on a cloud. The TV works simply with your mobile to watch Youtube/Netflix. Heater / AC worked well to manage the room temperature. Easy parking on their parking lot. Nice location, very convenient, safe and quiet.

The noise travels really easily so I recommend ear plugs and the wifi signal wasn’t super strong if you need to work remotely. We loved the hot tub it just should have been a little warmer

It was so adorable and the people working there were so kind! There were bike rentals that were included in your stay (for under 2 hours) and you could walk to many restaurants and bars as well as the ocean!

Only one mirror in deluxe balcony room. A full length mirror would be nice to add.

The staff are always friendly. The location is perfect. Easy walks to the pier, the harbor and downtown for shopping.

The quaintness of the hotel. The location is a walkable distance to the beach and several tourist attractions. I also appreciated that the hot tub was located away from the pool allowing for an more peaceful experience.

The only small complaint would be that the WiFi was very unreliable. It would go in and out while we were there.

The location in Santa Barbara was amazing, only a few blocks from the beach. Both staff members at the front desk were very nice. The room was nicely up to date and clean.

Perhaps more color in the room- to warm it up a bit..... Oh! a full length mirror on the closet door would be nice.

The staff, Elaina and Ben were very helpful and friendly- enjoyed talking to them. Loved the room location- 101! Wished the pool and hot tub were closer to each other, but understand how that happened. Had some trouble figuring out the faucets in the bathtub- there is no hot or cold signage- which way to turn knobs- over the days learned how to make it work. I would definitely stay here again and recommend.

We LOVED this property. It was really nice and room was modern, good size and had all facilities needed. Comfy bed. Pool and spa were great. Location is great - able to walk to beach, wharf and Main Street. The staff were super friendly and helpful, providing heaps of information and there was coffee, fruit and fresh cookies available in lobby, which just added that extra warmth to the hotel.

Cosy motel in a good location, walking distance from State street and close to the sea. Stayed a double king. Renovared room that was bright and fresh. The mattress for the main room king bed needs to be replaced though - it made all kinds of squeaky noises and was not comfortable. They have a decent size pool and a jacuzzi. They are not in the same place though (2 min walk across the premises). Friendly staff.

It’s a nice simple hotel in a great location. The staff were kind and helpful, giving us a map and explaining some sights to see. There were homemade cookies upon our arrival :)
