the staff seemed overwhelmed and tired. they had had a big weekend with limited staff. that said, when we went to use the pool and hot tub at 3 pm the water was disgusting. they shocked it and closed until the next day. since the main purpose of our stay there was to enjoy the pool, this was a huge disappointment. if they had checked the pool in the morning it may have been ready for afternoon use, but that didn’t happen and they were unapologetic about the situation.

The reason we picked this hotel was for the pool. But it was dirty therefore the reason we picked this hotel we didn't even get to enjoy. Was disappointed !

The pool was umm...kind of gross. I don't know if the paint on the bottom just needs to be updated or what, but I had zero interest in jumping in it. Plus with it being winter, the glass enclosure was very cold; so the indoor pool area was not pleasant or what we were expecting. They morning breakfast process is over complicated and they do not discuss your bill with you. The staff isn't very friendly at all. One of the staff yelled across the entire restaurant at 2 guests that were sitting in an area that apparently they weren't supposed to sit in. They are also very short staffed at the moment, so if you need help you'll need some patience.

I can’t think of a thing.

We were there to attend a funeral. We appreciated the discount in regards to that. There was a bit of a snow storm and so we ate at the restaurant. The service and food was excellent. The staff was great and our room was very good. Liked that the snow plow was already there when we were ready to leave the next morning.

You was unable to turn the water all the Way to the hot, when I asked I was told it because we don't the guest to scald themselves. The water was lukewarm.

The room was very small, the bed very uncomfortable with at least a 2-3" dip. The bathroom had no hooks to hand anything from. We faced the highway/bridge which was worked on early each morning.

When we arrived we were given room keys to a room that hadn’t been cleaned, had to go back and get a different room. The floor in the bathroom was disgusting, very dirty. The quality was not that of what I would think of a Holiday Inn for the price that we paid.

It's the only Holiday Inn Express that I've been to that doesn't offer a continental breakfast. They have a nice restaurant, but not ideal for business travelers. The location is great, so the hotel prices are are little higher which is understandable. At that price, a complimentary breakfast would be nice.

The hotel is very clean! The beds are extremely comfortable and the staff is very friendly. And the location is awesome. The hotel sits right by the lake and they offer fun activities for guests. The construction makes it a bit of a pain to get in and out, but that's not the hotels fault.

When we checked in on Friday, the first thing that happened is I had to ask for a broom so I could sweep off the cob webs which were all over the balcony. Then we saw multiple employees going to the smoking area and seeing there was a squatter with a tent on his red Dodge Ram truck (I've included pictures). Not one of the employees commented on it and nothing was done about it until I said something on Sunday after they overheard us talking about the bar on the balcony breaking off, which hit my husband in the head. Then a second bar broke from being rusted, which presented a risk hazard, so we had to move to a DOWNGRADED room after paid over $1,200 for an Executive King room. We received no discount or other incentive. I will never go to another Holiday Inn after the service we received for spending over a thousand dollars for three nights. What a rip off!

Booked a king size room and was give two queens. That is NOT what we reserved. Said breakfast was included but we got down there and said we needed "vouchers". Went to the front desk and nobody was there to help. Just left and went out. If you offer breakfast, give the vouchers upon arrival. A guest should not have to hunt them down. Now I see that I have a 20.00 charge on my credit card that I gave at the time of check in for what I am not sure because the room was charged on a different card that I originally entered when booking

Complete lack of atmosphere...no music outside...burger place does not gel with property...in that location, on that setting should be a bustling "vacation" feel...property is missing the boat on much more potential revenue, should be much more lively..where are all the boaters??

Hotel should have supplied extra toilet paper in room. (One roll on the spindle staying there 5 nights with 2 people, is not enough). Even hotels I stay in for $85 a night will have extra roll or two of toilet paper in the room. Had to request from front desk and get it from them. Same with fresh towels. There were two of us staying there and only two bath towels were left in the bathroom and then there was no service during the week because of Covid so we had to get our towels at the front desk. The tile floors in main lobby and all the way through to elevators and dining room, are extremely slick to walk on. (Even when totally dry).

Great breakfast…truly amazing. Employees very kind and accommodating. Tiki bar was awesome. Games were provided on the lawn. Cornhole, ping pong, volleyball, chess, etc, in addition to indoor and outdoor pool facilities. Walking paths along the marina. Good place to ride bikes, if you have them with you. Room was roomy, great closet, comfy bed and pillows.

No housekeeping (even little things like coffee cups in rooms, toilet paper etc), no bottles of water in rooms - phone in room didn't work to call down for these things - elevators were dirty, restaurant isn't what it should or could be-out of everything - for the location and pricing structure the property would do well with a decent restaurant - the whole thing has potential though!
