The beds were very hard and I had trouble sleeping because of that. And it was very close to the Interstate so there was road noise. I was there with a group for a sports event, and someone else chose this location. I would have stayed farther from the highway. Also, it was hard to get to from the direction I got off of the highway-from I 75 south. I had to drive across a gravel lot at night to get to it because there was a median in the road where I needed to turn, because of its proximity to the interstate interchange.

The room was spacious and furnished well, with lights that were easy to switch on and off, and a fairly quiet HVAC unit. It was clean, and that is always appreciated. The breakfast was definitely above average. The mini scones were a nice surprise and were my favorite breakfast item there. Check in and check out were very easy.

It’s a little bit further away from downtown and I would like but the price reflects that so it’s all fair. Just make sure you check a map.

My daughter's necklace was taken from our room while we went swimming. Cleaning staff was on the floor. We know the necklace was left on a desk in plain view. Be sure to secure your valuables at this location. Cleaning staff are on site all day long into the evening and have access to your room.

My kids and I go for the indoor heated pool and jacuzzi. It's actually heated year round. It's close to eateries.

We had to use stairs to the fourth floor. The elevator was down, but we made do. They did give me the option to cancel at no charge, but we decided to stay .

The carpet was sticky and felt so dirty we had to wear shoes. The pool was very cloudy. The elevators were out because of a storm but they never called to let us know. So we had to walk up lots of stairs to the 5th floor with 3 children.

My only gripe was that you had to request housekeeping, and they didn't mention this at check-in. I am visually impaired (blind really) in my right eye, and I was expecting housekeeping. That was actually the reason we chose a hotel over a brb. After returning to an unmade room with full trash cans, 🗑 I asked the front desk. I was directed to a small sticker on the mirror that read "complimentary" housekeeping was offered on request. When I requested clean towels, we were expected to retrieve them, and then had to make a second trip downstairs because they didn't give my son enough for the number of people in the room. The young lady behind the desk was less than helpful and had a second, older female, staff member present, so she could have come up with the towels and offered to take the trash. THAT would have helped abate my frustration a little. First, because of my vision, I didn't even see the sticker. Second, complimentary? Since when does the price of a hotel room NOT INCLUDE housekeeping? Third, if this was the policy, they should have mentioned that at check-in. I doubt any guest wants to sit in their own trash during vacation. The previous stays on our trip had been at Choice hotels, and they are more old school, as am I, housekeeping is a given. This really made me upset, but because of the pool and the lady at breakfast, I couldn't take too many points off, mad as I was.

The pool was outstanding, and finally, a pool warm enough to get in and swim without "getting used to the temperature." The breakfast was amazing with more selections than I have seen in other places, including omletes, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, grits, flavored batter for the waffle maker and more! The staff are friendly but I have to say, the lady doing breakfast during the week is probably the kindest, most efficient staff member I've seen at a hotel, and I have traveled extensively. She went out of her way for everyone to make sure they had everything they needed, gave information on local things to see and do, and visited with guests to ensure they were having a great stay, all while keeping the breakfast area clean and well stocked! SHE IS AMAZING!

The beds were too soft, making our sleep a bit uncomfortable.

The location was central to where we were visiting family so it made our trip convenient. As well, we were able to have our room down the hall from our family members who were also staying at the hotel.
