Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesWe stayed five days and never had maid service. We had to ask for towels, toilet paper, and soap. We threw away our own trash. Also the hotel's computers did not work. This was inconvenient.

I have ADHD so I tend to accidentally pack things or they get mixed in with other things and I was so embarrassed to call after someone told me the manager would call me I just ordered a new Firestick…
I liked how friendly the staff was and how clean everything was. I also liked that there was breakfast and a pool that wasn’t freezing. I also liked the coffee cups with the mustaches in the room

United StatesThere was black foot print stains on the floor. The bed was hard and not comfortable at all. The shower needed calking to fill in several holes. The shower head was not working well and leaking. There was several cracks in the ceiling. Stains on the sheets and they didn't have any extras to replace. It was the worst Hampton I've ever stayed in.
We liked the location because it was close to everything but the room itself was horrible.

United StatesThe pool is never working properly at this location. Wasn't heated so they sent us next door and their pool wasn't heated either. Housekeeping didn't come for 4 days even though they came in on us on day 2. We asked them to come back in 5 minutes and they even saw us leave and they didn't come back. When they did come on day 5, they just picked up the trash, dirty towels and threw the comforter over the bed. Didn't change the sheets or even straighten them.

I give this poor rating due to the fact that upon checking out we were overcharged and I called the hotel. After speaking with the “manager” Jasmine who has no reason to be in hospitality as usually they will listen to your concern, especially when you have been overcharged, rather than avoiding your concern and directing you elsewhere. She showed no compassion or offered any assistance. She was right and you were wrong. Proof is in the pudding Jasmine. She needs to be demoted for poor unethical treatment of an elderly female. All I can say is I hope everyone reads this before booking a stay here. Side note: this is being resolved outside the hotel.

United StatesThe front desk charged me twice for my room and did nothing to get it corrected, she just said it should go back on your card at some point. Beds were squeaky and hard, pillows flat and pillowcases felt like plastic, the carpet was sticky. Breakfast was ok, lights in breakfast area flickered on and off. Pool was cloudy and hot! At checkout they were still clueless about when I would get my money back. We are on a tight budget for our vacation and I needed that money! I asked for a manager but they said nobody is available on the weekends. Horrible customer service. Will not stay again.
