How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Arrived early, manager Michelle was able to get us in to a room quickly. Very clean, breakfast was good & started at 6am on Sun which was perfect for us. Great location. We will definitely stay here again.

We arrived late and it was no problem. It took some time until the computer cooperated. There could be brighter light in the room. It was hard to do certain things without enough light. Breakfast: Sausages didn't taste good. Coffee was good. I brought my own lactose free milk. Unfortunately I have some food restrictions (dairy, gluten, egg), so there was not really a lot to eat for me. I know a lot of people with issues like this and this would be an awesome upgrade to offer some glutenfree/dairyfree choices. We came back late Saturday night. NO parking available in front or back. We squeezed in between a truck and the dumpster. Unfortunately Steakhouse and Taco Bell close at EIGHT!!! 8pm every day.
The room was great and clean. Breakfast is available from 6am - 10am. It looked like it covered all the basic breakfast items. We enjoyed the Steak house right next door and Taco Bell across the street. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was easy to get to downtown Cleveland. The issues were just minor. Our stay was fun and we had a great time.

The fact that the front desk lied to me about late checkout. I have a friend who works for Hilton and confirmed with him that there is no such thing as "out of late check outs" as I was told when I called down to the front desk.
Loved the room and how much space we had. Breakfast was good too.

Mold under drippy shower on floor. Not a lot. Fix the drip on the showerhead, should alleviate problem.
It was good for a pandemic style breakfast. Comfy, clean room. Very nice staff. Seemed like a quiet, nice location.

The pillows were a bit to soft for my tastes and the shower head too high for a short person like myself to reach to change the spray settings.
A very clean room, with comfortable a bed and seating area. For it being a holiday weekend, it was fairly quiet, with just a few somewhat loud guests.

There where a few dirty towels left in the bathroom after the room was "cleaned". And we had to make reservations to use the pool & gym & we wasn't aware of this until trying to use these facilities.
The room was comfortable & quite.

Not clean. I thought based on reviews that it would be, but there were multiple hairs in the shower, multiple hairs on bed near pillows, yellow spot on carpet, and THICK spider webs near AC that were very obvious so I’m shocked those weren’t taken care of. I felt icky in the room. Fridge wasn’t very cold so turned it up. Pillows were very soft and didn’t offer much support which I didn’t like but maybe some prefer that kind. Breakfast was very basic and disappointing. Didn’t have many options and nothing I could eat with my dietary restrictions besides some kinda unappealing fruit. The #1 thing I look for in a hotel is clean and this wasn’t so I wouldn’t stay here again regardless of the parking lot and price. Employees were nice but check in was a little slow.

Hampton usually cleaner, nicer. For the price, I thought should be Hilton. Too much.

The very rude lady I spoke to on the phone. I was trying to let her know I was on my way and if I had to I would pay over the phone. She was very rude.
Never made it due to them canceling my reservation even though I chose the pay at the property on my reservation
