The noise generated by passing trains but that is beyond the facilities control. It is not really a negative to me.

The property is located in the middle of a shopping center making shopping and special dining convenient. The front desk staff are professionals who focus on making a customer comfortable and relaxed by anticipating things that they may need like coffee access 24x7. The facilities are clean and the rooms are reasonably quiet even with periodic trains passing by behind the building. The free breakfast was excellent. From simple cereal to mire complex omelets and sausage, freshly baked biscuits and delicious coffee... I try to stay at this location every time I do business or leisure in Northern VA and DC..

Anita and Tina were spectacular. They are very friendly and made sure my husband’s room was ready and right for him. They are what customer service would look like if you looked it up in the dictionary.

Room was set up for handicap but could have used a chair or two. Plenty of room to accommodate the addition.

The hotel was exceptionally clean. The shower had lots of hot water and plenty ot water pressure.

Small bed pillows. Location right next to the train tracks. Two trains came through overnight and my husband heard both of them.

We didn’t eat the breakfast although I grabbed two packaged muffins and coffee. That was nice. The staff was friendly.

Check in/out Staff were not particularly friendly, almost terse and not helpful in any manner of speaking. Kitchen staff seemed more interested in filling their entire plates than making sure the breakfast options were repleted and warm. Room was not very clean- hair (not mine) on bathroom floor and in sink.

Location of this property, although it is very centrally located, the train runs very closely to the hotel. There were several times when the train was very loud and intrusive.

Only one treadmill was working and we told the staff the wipes container was empty but it wasn’t refilled the next day.

This Hampton Inn was so much cleaner than most that we’ve stayed at.

Air conditioning was too cold at even 70°, so I changed the temperature to 71°. Dead air was humid and warm. The extreme between both temperatures disrupted a good night's rest. The bathroom caulking is black in some areas. Need to sanitize and redo.

We flew into Baltimore Maryland to go to a funeral in Virginia and discovered we had nowhere to stay. They canceled our room before we even departed for our flight from Dallas. Our confirmation from you all stated check in was from 3pm-12am. We were scrambling trying to find somewhere else to stay

We had several issues with our room. The A/C did not cool. Since the weather is cooler, we did not notice this until about 2 am when we woke up hot. The water in the sink barely came out and took a long time to get hot because of this. The bathroom door handle on the inside was very stiff and nearly impossible to get to move and therefore the door would not latch.
