Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

One of the elevators was broken The coffee in the lobby was cold and undrinkable Breakfast was very poor. The waffle machine didn’t function properly (didn’t beep halfway to alert you to turn it, causing them to burn for most people), all 4 juices were very odd tasting, the egg dish was extremely dry, and the pancakes were very bland.

United StatesPaper thin walls. Front door would slam as you closed it. You heard door slams all night long. Walls so thin I heard next rooms conversation and shower water running. I went for an afternoon cup of coffee and the coffee was ice cold. When I told front desk about it, they offered to make a fresh pot.

United StatesBreakfast was lacking and had long line with nobody really supervising, not big enough for a sold out hotel both breakfast & ables available. We ended up leaving to grab breakfast elsewhere. They advertise an indoor heated pool but the pool is NOT heated, extremely cold and couldn't use. Pillows were really flat, and in the morning I noticed stains on the sheet on the bed I slept in GROSS. I wouldn't stay here again.
The only good thing staff was nice.

The fitness room in one of the main reasons we chose to stay at Hampton Inns.

Did not stock well for breakfast at all. Staff wasn't that helpful, was in the closed door we had to knock for more stuff.

United StatesThe bathroom has a sliding door which is fine except it did not cover the bathroom all the way and left a gap of like 1-2 inches. With this gap, and the room door open, you could see from the hallway directly to the tub. My 3yo kept looking in the bathroom when we were using it. I like a br that locks and if it doesn’t lock it should at least close all the way! The breakfast was very disappointing. Only one type of eggs: western omelette which my kids would not eat and had a horrible cheese in it. Only one kind of meat, no potatoes, very little variety of starch, and no sweet breads. Peanut butter came from one large container and was very oily. I stay at a lot of Hiltons but this was the worst breakfast ever.
The rooms were comfortable, friendly staff, coffee in lobby.
