The bed was a little soft for my taste both stays. But this is a subjective preference. Lovely soft sheets and bedding are great!

Staff, gorgeous facility, sparkling clean, amazing location and water and snacks placed out. This is our second stay and I think will always stay here at Marblehead.

Really nothing we disliked. As a constructive suggestion, perhaps check the large thermos carafes of hot water and coffee available in the breakfast area. We ate breakfast in the later time slot several times and found that the coffee was not hot anymore. When asked, they immediately made fresh coffee.

Beautiful old inn right in the heart of Marblehead. It has plenty of communal space for the lovely breakfast and sitting by one of the many fireplaces. The staff was exceptional and very responsive to any request, including charging our electric rental car. Our room. #5, was ground floor and spacious. There were two wingback chairs for sitting by the fire or watching TV. The bathroom had a large jacuzzi tub/shower. We didn’t use the bath but the shower had incredible water pressure and immediate/plentiful hot water. The canopy bed was comfortable. The included breakfasts were very good and they accommodated special requests.

Truly exceptional! Felt like a visit to someone's home. Wonderful place to spend New Year's Eve. Champagne reception was exceptional, as was breakfast the following morning in a quaint dining space of your choice.

The rule of not being able to use the working fireplace unless the outside temperature went to 45 degrees the actual nighttime temperature was 47 degrees during our stay

The location has a special meaning to us and the hospitality of the entire staff make guests comfortable and welcome

The A/C/fan was right next to the bed in our room and was a bit loud.

The bathroom was a real treat, and the bed linens were high quality and soft. Breakfast was good, especially the blueberry French toast.

Beautiful hotel, small and quaint. The outdoor space and pool are very nice. Great bar area and the staff made us feel very welcome. Very nice shower and bathroom area. We had the early breakfast as we had to leave to catch a plane and the staff was very accommodating of our early departure. Staff recommendations for dinner were great too.

Almost everything. We got a room on the 3 rd floor so was a bit hard to climb up and down. Also I would have loved to have the bed sheets crispy rather than silky. But that’s just our preference.

The property is beautiful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was small but ok. Towels were very white and nice. The staff was very kind and friendly. The pool area and the pool was wonderful

Difficult parking & unloading of luggage. Many stairs, not handicapped accessible. Bathroom is very small & not much room for toiletries. All furniture is uncomfortable, and pillows are lumpy. Beware, the cost of a glass of wine at their bar is $20!! Good breakfast, but the same thing every day & the eggs always have cheese in them.

In the center of the historic district with restaurants & parks within walking distance. Nicely decorated, and comfortable bed. Nice pool. Good shower water pressure.
