Room was large and comfortable. We were close to great restaurants and easy walk to shopping areas like King Street. We didn’t have a great view, but also did not have much time in room for that to be a problem. Breakfast hit all of our needs:

Unfortunately, a new hotel went up right in front which obscures the views.

Continental breaks delivered to the room each day was nice. Many perks such as water, wine and cheese in the afternoon and evening mil and cookies were nice treats. Great being able to borrow the bikes without a hassle.

Excellent location - easy walk to most places we wanted to visit. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The bed was extra comfortable!

Not a major issue but the arms of the chairs in the reception area desperately need a good clean. The shower in our room couldn’t fully switch from the tap to the shower head (so very little shower pressure) and the staff at checkout didn’t seem overly bothered when I mentioned it.

Lovely touches with the wine and cheese at 5pm and the cookies and coffee in the evening. Great location and the chap in reception was very informative about the area.

Price for race weekend Bathroom had moisture damage. Noisy.

We unknowingly booked our stay during the 10k bridge race, so our room rate was $700+ for two nights out of the 5 nights we stayed. It by no means was worth that fee. The usual rate is somewhat a fair deal, just because of the location. but the “gauging fee” was too high of a price. We were woken by construction at 6:30 am weekdays, and the trash truck 5:30 Sunday morning… Breakfast was more enhanced continental than gourmet as described but included in room, so sufficient. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Daniel was great! The wine and cheese with live music from 5-6 was well done. So, we liked the hotel, but to be charged extra because of an event , made the stay overpriced for the accommodation . ( Also, moisture damage in scuttle on ceiling and walls of bathroom room 108 was disconcerting )

The hotel is located across the street from the waterfront. Unfortunately, a new hotel is under construction on the other side of the street that blocks the view of the harbor. Minor issue though overall.

The location was excellent. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating and the hotel was immaculate.

Only one small elevator so sometimes a lengthy wait but taking the stairs is good for us all if we can do it! Part of the charm of a historic venue

Absolutely nothing.

Amazing experience- start to finish. Staff was absolutely REMARKABLE. Front desk/car attendants/room service - absolutely EVERYONE treated us like royalty. Beautiful and spacious room, with the MOST comfortable bed and pillows.
