These aren't really complaints - I enjoyed my stay. Just ways to improve. I was the only other guest I saw at the hotel that I *saw* and I move around a lot (use the gym, pool, go outside to vape bc I respect the rules), and my room was pretty far away from everything, same as last time. Also, the restaurant (which isn't part of the hotel) closes so early. I got in a bit late, and chose jacuzzi over restaurant and got DoorDash. They close at 8. I would have gotten breakfast the next morning, but they don't provide room service until 10 am. Like most things within the hotel, getting to the restaurant is a long walk, so I waited til I got to the train station.

This is my second time staying here, and it was better than the first. The property is gorgeous, and it's never been too crowded the last 2 times I stayed. When I arrived this time, it looked like they were just cleaning up after a convention, so it was a bit messy. However, they let me check in early so no worries. The 2 nights previously I'd stayed at the Hilton in Stamford because of its walkable distance to the train station, but overall this place is so much better. The other hotel has an overpriced "store" that closes well before it should, while this place has clearly marked vending machines and ice machines all over. Also, this hotel has a pool, jacuzzi, and sauna, which was wonderful for relaxation.

The pool steps were dangerous be cause they are coming unscrewed.. A pipe over the pool is rusted with droplets of water falling on guests in the pool. The sauna has no light and too dark. Possibly dangerous if you bump into heater, might burn skin. Hotel has a stale smell from AC system.

We did end up with two beds and they definitely felt smaller than usual. Not sure if the bed was a double or a full, however it was only for a night and was pretty comfortable besides that.

I booked a completely different room and by the time I got there it was late I booked a double bed and got a single and I was supposed to have a city view and it was the parking lot. Then I also had to pay for hotel parking.

Instead of a welcome greeting, I was greeted with “ID please”. Doesn’t make me feel like a valued guest. Floor of room was sticky and dirty. Someone’s hair was on sink and shower dispensers. Windows were dirty. No breakfast. Could hear guest in connecting room.

Nice, clean hotel. Very spacious and clean room. Associate at the front desk was nice and very welcoming. Parking is under construction but i had no issues finding a spot . Hotel seemed to be not busy and very quiet which was a plus for me.

Loud knocking coming from the roof or somewhere.. I believe they were renovating the roof or something. Kept making me paranoid as if someone is breaking into our room or trying to get into our room

Garage is under remodeling. Revolving door is heavy and automatic function didn’t work. Luggage cart is flimsy and hard to make turn at the handicap slope

The comforter on the bed had a big hole on the inside of it. The room had a funny smell.

The wifi would not stay connected. As a Canadian travelling into the USA, wifi is very important. I accidently used up all my Roaming data while I thought I was connected to the hotel wifi.
