Purchased the option on booking with breakfast included for 4 people. The desk workers forgot to include the coupons for the stay during check in and we had to prove later that we reserved with that option included in the price. So maybe work on something with the hotel so it shows when people reserve a room with breakfast.

Loved how friendly the staff was, loved that the pool was open, and the rooms were very nice!

When I sat down to breakfast, I was the only person in the dining room. An order was taken for an omelet. In the meantime, I served myself an English muffin (and had time to toast it), fruit, and tepid breakfast sausages links. I ate all, drank coffee, and the omelet still hadn’t arrived. When I told the server, just to cancel that order, he just said “Oh , ok. Sorry about that” So I ended up paying $12 for a really mediocre breakfast. I would, in the future, go to a real breakfast restaurant rather than getting a disappointing meal at this location. Only giving an 8 in the rating because of this unfortunate end to my stay.

It was clean. I didn’t spend too much time in the common areas, pool, etc. so I can’t comment on those.

We had a dirty sock and some bottle lids on the floor. Next to no toliet paper as well. It was also really dark with not a lot of lighting but honestly the sock was really bothersome. If a sock is missed what else was all we could think about. Also the bar restaurant was advertised incorrectly. It was not what we expected, much smaller.

Liked the snack and beverage options. Did not eat the breakfast but it did look really good!

The front desk staff was awesome!! Answered lots of questions about what to do locally, told us how easy Uber was in Ames and even told us who would probably be our driver. All around just awesome!!

I was disappointed in the food and the breakfast I did buy supper there and I could have made better myself the breakfast this is the first hotel I've ever stayed in that I had to pay for breakfast it's the Hilton you can make the breakfast free that'll be the only thing stopped me from not coming back especially during these hard times

The receptionist and the people that did help me and then greeted me were excellent they're really friendly and helpful wouldn't trade that for nothing

Under construction, hall ways were 100 degrees. We were at the very end of the hall with plastic sheeting up. Impossible to keep the room cool. Noisy little air conditioner leaked all over the carpet. No pool, but we were not told this when we checked in. Came down for dinner and there was no cook. We had to go back out to eat. Again, not mentioned when we checked in. Could have stayed somewhere cheaper and gotten the same thig or better.

The grounds and lobby looked great. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good.

hotel was under some construction. Due this it was very warm in the common areas. I couldn’t get the ac to stay on. Three staff members assisted the customer ahead of me at check in while I waited for 45 min. the happy hour and breakfast did not start on time which was a disappointment esp. for breakfast since we originally planned to eat at the hotel but had to go elsewhere since we had an appointment we could not be late for.
