Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The size of the room was wonderful. I used the gym everyday I was there and it was very clean. Housekeeping (one woman in particular) was amazing. The location was ideal for work, a baseball game and checking out the restaurants and stores at the Plaza.

United StatesI paid quite a bit for a room for my family, as we were excited about attending a concert.I paid that price to make sure I received BREAKFAST for my family the next morning. I went to eat, made my plate and was told my room wasn't on the list. HUMILIATED I put my plate down and left. I came back down after awhile and showed my screenshot of my room amenities and talked with the gentleman at the front counter, he assured me I was right and they were absolutely wrong. I came back down to eat with my family. I was asked for my room number at least 5 or 6 times. I was even asked if I had a COUPON even!! Embarrassing

United StatesThe customer service was extremely off putting on arrival. I would get attitude and rude short abrupt answers for simple nicely asked questions. They would give short answers with no explanation. Followed by awkward silence as i try to figure out why they are being rude. I work in customer service every day. I would get fired for talking to customers the way they spoke to me. 2 separate conversations both equally rude and off putting. We avoided the staff after that.
The hotel itself is very nice, clean rooms, spacious rooms, easy access to the parking garage, over all pleasurable experience.

United StatesThe carpet in the room was dirty with brown stains. The fold out couch was not cleaned after a previous guest, there were Cheerios that fell to the floor when it was opened up. The TV stand in the suite had glue on the top where it appears something was removed, but the glue was not.
Loved being able to check in and out on the app! The room was nice and bright, the bathroom mirror was well lit. The bed was very comfy. Very quiet room with a nice view.

Perfect location with walking distance to the shopping plaza and restaurants! Clean hotel, nice contemporary remodeled interior, great view and welcoming staff. Little side note: if there are 3 guests in a room, it would be helpful to supply 3 sets of towels, coffee, etc. instead of default 2. Also, the lotion bottle in our bathroom was empty.
