How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

They got rid of the hot tub, the west tower hallways were very hot, the room had a weird full size mirror that was on the floor and apparently was attached to the wall and looked horrible.

The bed was very uncomfortable. It was way to soft, you sank right in. I did have trouble with my booking when I tried to check -in. They had my reservation but it did not reflect the price that my confirmation through the app indicated, they priced me over $100 more than what i booked in the app. They did take care of it and match it for me but it took a little shove back from me to get them to do so which was disappointing and may cause me to hesitate using the travel app that I used again.
The Room was clean and had a nice view of the city as described when booking. The hotel is in walking distance from many things to do and the parking garage was not that far away. The food to order in the hotel bar was delicious and open late for late night snack cravings!

we got the executive suite. it shows you pictures and your assuming you are getting what’s in the pictures. but the room was extremely small. the bathroom was even smaller. 850 for two nights and I was assuming a very nice room. looks no different than an ordinary room. very disappointed. We also assumed it had concierge lounge but we never found it. we prepaid for breakfast and that was the only thing I was satisfied with.

The pizza bar in the lobby.. The bartender was one of the rudest men I've ever met in my life. We will never spend a dime there again.

the floor in the room was wet by the bed and the room smelled like cleaner for the entire stay was off putting and an inconvenience for my socks :/ it was shocking that it was this way due to the appearance of the hotel

Very dusty room. Mirror was filthy. There was old blood on baseboard in bathroom. Toilet continuously clogged throughout stay. On day of check out, housekeeping starting knocking on our door at 7am.. to see if we had left. Proceeded to knock every hour after that. Check was at 12pm. We were out by 11am

There was an issue with the heat in our first room. After 3 calls to the front desk, someone finally came and temporarily fixed it. To make a long story short, we had to move rooms at 3 in the morning. We were given a $50 room credit only because we asked for some type of compensation. I personally feel like we should have gotten a free night because of that.
The location was great and the staff were good. The valet crew was the best, so personable and fun. Also good food.

Pool was soooo full my grandson could not even swim,. Also we checked out at 9:15am on Sunday March 27th and the Valet lost our keys so we had to wait for locksmith until 12:30, also many cars were vandalized with broken windows in parking garage/valet
Location was great, loved the roof top restaurant - great pizza! Easy check in and check out
