Great breakfast

I think the hotel is being neglected. We have stayed there severall times and it seems its beginning to run down. The plumbing g is slow. Our tub took forever to drain, meanwhile you are standing in the dirty water. One tv was missing channels. The room Just didn't feel clean like usual. I was disappointed. And wondering how it will be in another year.

Walking in other rooms and halls made a lot of noise. The gym wasn't operational.no USB ports in the room to charge the phone.bad wifi connection .

Hard time getting into parking lot because of too much snow. But Carla took care of that immediately. Tough to fight Mother Nature.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.Carla, the GM was exceptional. The breakfast was very good. Enjoyed our stay. Convenient location off the Interstate. Check-in and check out went smoothly.

Bathroom had a very slight musty smell, could have been something as little as a shower curtain not drying out. Had to ask for toilet paper, light was out in the bathroom, and AC display wasn’t showing the controls.

Television wouldn't work - think it was the remote batteries. I didn't report it due to not being in room enough to use the TV anyway. Received the wrong room receipt on departure, didn't notice until arriving home. Minor issues to me this visit.

Third floor had a lot of activity thru the night. Doors opening and closing all night. Smelled marijuana.

The juice machine happened to break while I was there, but those things happen. They made up for it by having juice bottles available!

I loved the front desk personnel. They were very welcoming and always open to conversation about your stay and what you were in town for. Very friendly!

The only thing is when I went to the front desk and asked for toilet paper they couldn’t find any they had to give me a used roll.

Having to leave!

All my needs were met. The staff was very helpful! Comfortable beds and breakfast was delicious!

The conditioner bottle didn't work, not sure if it was empty or the spout was broken Staff smoking right outside the front doors is annoying.

Breakfast was AMAZING!! Room was spacious and clean. Towels weren't too rough which is really appreciated! Easy location to get to Rt 72 toward Cedarville and close to many eateries.

We were in the room at the end of the hall by the door and ice machine. It was very noisy, the door and room needs to be more insulated

Don't know who was at fault, but there seemed to be a disconnect between Holiday Inn Express and Booking.com as to whether I had a booked reservation for the night we requested, but when we arrived, we did have a room. There is an unexplained $25 pending charge on my credit card over and above what was quoted for the room (149,99 + 24.37 tax).

The included breakfast was a nice addition. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The room was well kept and clean.

I was charged on my credit card twice for reasons unknown, the first one they corrected and the money was back in my account the following day. The 2nd one was for 245.00 and they could not tell me why that was charged since I had already paid my bill in full. I am still waiting for a refund for that, I had to call my bank and have them take over since no one at the front desk could help. I will not be using these hotels again. I am lucky I had enough money to get back home.

The limitations to the breakfast menu allowed only one beverage, which meant I couldn't have OJ and milk with cereal. The room was pretty clean, except for a used washcloth hung over the shower rod. Housekeeping replaced the coffee and tea we used (good), but did not replace the breakfast order forms we used.

The COVID adaptations for a no-touch, non-buffet breakfast worked. The location was handy to the highway, which was good (convenient) and bad (view). It was an easy ten-minute drive to/from Yellow Springs, which was our objective.
