It was extremely clean and comfortable and having a restaurant and bar available was great although my burger had way too much salt in it. Ate anyway!! We will be back

While it is no fault of the hotel, there is road construction on I-35 that made it difficult to get to our hotel from the north. The pool looks much larger in the pictures than it really is and the water in it was bath water warm, which is not what you're after on hot, summer days.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the pillows were amazing, the breakfast was quite good, and the staff was friendly.

Needed some updates…. The pool was inside and it had warm water and it was hot outside and inside so just felt like I was taking a bath.

Price to value is on the higher side, especially over the weekend. But it was OK overall. Good breakfast but the cafeteria closes too early. Spring mattresses may be outdated? They screech or squeak.

The room was reasonably good - a small bedroom with a queen-size bed - but there was a larger room with a conference table that proved to be very useful. Breakfast was awesome, too.

Clean, comfortable, excellent value. Kudos to staff member, Allison. Had a computer problem at check in which she efficiently resolved and even brought me my keys while I ate in the dining room.

The morning front desk was not near as friendly as the evening crew

Do not stay at this hotel. They tried to charge us twice for our room, we were moved 5 times on a 7 night stay that I had booked..First room we had black bugs in our sheets, room 2 didn’t have a lamp, 1 out of 3 bulbs in bathroom were out and we did not have any towels or soap. When they put us in room 3 the front desk girl told us to call her back to make sure the room was in good order. The room was in good order, but when I tried to call her back the phone didn’t work. Room 4 we found out that the door wouldn’t lock, which we did not realize till the next morning. Someone could have walked into our room without a key. Julius the evening manager was made aware of the bugs and did come up to our room and verified. We did reach out to Holiday Inn mgmt to make them aware of our concerns but they refuse to call us back. Shawn the mgr. refused to come out and talk to us instead sent Julius. The only response from Shawn the mgr was when we spoke to him about our door not needing a key to enter was, “ Did someone come into your room”. What concern for our safety. As I stated before when you call Holiday Inn to file a complaint, they tell you that it will go directly to the mgr of the hotel. What good will that do when he is the problem and does not address the problem or call you back. Holiday Inn needs to change this. I have left 4 different complaints and they won’t respond While we were at the front desk a customer was complaining about the service in the restaurant and the evening mgr Julius just ignored him and laughed it off. I am still waiting for a response.

For a 3 night stay the trash was too small and we had trouble with where to put trash. It was 2 small bathroom sized cans and we did order food. There was a slight warm up period on the overhead hallway and bathroom lights and no light for the closet which was a minor inconvenience and didn't detract from our happiness with the room.

The room was ideal for a couple and the bed was so comfy. While they are renovating it was not disruptive at all. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The shower was very nice. It was the perfect place for our mini vacay and we slept really well and had no issues. The TV in the room was a good size and placement was good for watching on the bed. Overall would recommend and it was close to everything we wanted to do.
