Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesWe were in a no smoking room yet. When we returned to our room there was a strong odor of smoke in the bathroom. When I contacted the front desk they offered to switch rooms. Not sure why I would need to be inconvenienced with switching rooms instead of them conducting a search to find out where the smoke was coming from and ask the person breaking the rules to leave.
The property was very clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

United Statesthe burger restaurant, the employees were not friendly. we sat at the bar , no one greeted us , we continued to wait for about 4 minutes. They just ignored us until we got there attention . (They were just standing caring on a conversation and completely ignored us.) We just got the vibe that the bartender was reluctant to sever us, we proceeded to order drinks and food. I talked to a manager at the front desk he just brushed it off as nothing., another employee talked to the bartender. We really enjoyed our meal even though the start was a little rocky.

My family enjoyed the stay and we loved the location. The heated pool was clean and awesome!! We loved that you accept pets and the property was very nice! However, we would have preferred a buffet style breakfast to eat and run. I would highly recommend offering breakfast vouchers to each person that stays in the room instead of just offering 2 vouchers. Breakfast can get costly and a typical family of 4 is forced to purchase breakfast entrees that are approx. 15 dollars additionally per person which adds up quick when staying several days. We did eat breakfast in the Burger Theory restaurant once but we were the only ones there and the coffee was very watery. Just giving some feedback that others might be thinking!
