Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesWorking on plumbing when first arrived; no water. The breakfast options were bad and the coffee was terrible! Front desk did not return my ID/DL at check in. Didn’t notice till I was back home. They wanted to charge an outrageous amount to mail it. I had to get a ride and drive from Orange County the next day to pick it up!!!!
It was in close proximity to my conference.

United StatesStayed here as a vacation and upon arrival the person who checked us in was friendly with no issue. The only issue was paid parking, which I thought was odd. We got into our room and the room was clean for the most part. The shower didn’t look like it had been cleaned from the last guest. There was visible dirt on the shower floor. There is a blood smear from where something had been killed/smashed on the wall. There’s not much space/shelves to place hygiene items in the shower. There is a place for bar soap and thats it, even though they provide shampoo, conditioner and soap, we like to travel with our own. No place to hang a rag we washed up with, so we hung it on the knob. Room was a conjoined room and we put a chair in front of the door. Walls are thin we heard our neighbors when they would talk. The beds are not comfortable, my husband woke up with his back hurting each morning. Beds make noise when moving around the bed. Lamp by bed is wonky. When we step on the floor it changes how the light works. I had to hit it for it to work right. Wifi was wonky as well. Housekeeping did not tend to our room. We had to throw our own trash. We asked for new towels and none were available at the time so I asked to get some brought to us which we were told we would. But when we arrived back to the hotel I decided to grab some myself. Our bedding has not been changed since we arrived. We asked for a plunger multiple times and never received one so we went to the front desk and asked for one and the lady looked confused as to why we haven’t gotten one yet. We got one eventually. I am sure they dont speak much/good english, which is a problem for most guests.
It was convenient for why were in San Diego. The front desk staff was good to us. Helped accommodate us to a better room.

United StatesWish that the room numbers were numbered in a normal format instead of all odd numbers were on one side then the even numbers were on the other side. Also it would have been nice if they have rooms for people with disabilities near the elevators and parking for disabled patrons as well.
Didn’t eat breakfast cuz I wasn’t informed at the time when I registered that I have to have a voucher to be able to eat breakfast. The person at that time was not very informative or helpful like need to trained on public relations other than that the room was clean and other things were in running condition. Thank you very much.

United StatesThe bathroom was too small. The toilet was not comfortable. I was there four nights. The room was not cleaned once while I was there. I had to ask for clean towels my second day. The waste baskets were never emptied the entire time from Monday through Friday while I was there. The breakfasts were terrible not like I was used to at other Super 8 Motels.
The Price. One staff member assisted me in getting Lyfe pickup organized. The shower was large and comfortable.

United StatesIt wasn't perfectly clean and the check in process delayed us until nearly midnight, at which point we were completely exhausted and forlorn. All due to some issue with all Wyndham computer systems. I feel that I should have received credit for that night stay or a free night in the future considering that my entire evening was wasted trying to simply check in to a room to settle in. The entire lobby was full of disgruntled guests for hours. So much for a romantic evening!

For the price, it was fine. Pretty much what you’d expect. When I was walking to my room, there was a guy sitting on the walkway smoking, I had to step over his legs. He did say “I’m so sorry” and I said it was fine, but it did make it seem a little sketchy at first. Second night was fine. It was surprisingly quiet.
