I checked in but didn't go into the room had to go and meet family. When I returned to the hotel . The staff person was knocked out sleep we made alot of noise and she never moved. tried to enter my room there was someone already in the room . Went down to the front desk looks like she just woke up . Explained that someone already was in that room she said it was a computer error and was given another room. In this room one of the beds had alot of black hair all over the pillow case . There was trash and dust behind the night stand . The only reason I noticed it was something fell behind it. About 12 o'clock that night a staff member called my cell phone saying someone was at the desk asking for a key to my room . I asked her for what room and she gave me the number to the first room I was given . I told her that I was given a different room , she replied that the previous staff member never changed my room but I was still registered in the first room . I told her what room I was in and she changed it while I was on the phone .we use stay at this hotel all the time in previous years but now the quality of this hotel has went down service and cleanliness is definitely below standard.

The carpet in the hotel makes it look dirty. I travel alot and lately I've been seeing more and more hotels removing the carpet throughout the building and rooms and genuinely makes it feel and look clearer. In my opinion it would take staff less time to clean rooms if they were carpetless. Carpet holds dirt and odor no matter how well or how much you clean it.

$1 charge per night for room safe that we didn't need, what is next? Refrigerator charge, coffee maker, hairdryer? 😵‍💫 I don't care for very soft beds and these wew verrrysoft.

6:45, coffee still wasn't ready. Refrigerator left open in prep area with no staff in sight for over 25 minutes. Refrigerator was dirty and rusty. Ants on buffet where eggs and sausage were warming. So we drove easy hungry

We actually stayed Fri-Sun and our last night .. the July 9-10 that this survey is about did not hold up to all of our previous stays. There were over 30 people at the pool. They were unruly and honestly made me feel uncomfortable. I even tried to smile, say hello & I was given hateful stares. At one point, my mother & I were concerned because someone literally tried our door knob! Idk if they thought they could just walk in or what but it was very odd. They did NOT try to use a key card. They didn't knock or say anything. When I looked out the peep hole I could see the guy looking around & trying to turn our handle. Thankfully he ended up just going away BUT I refused to leave the room for the rest of the night. I had parked my mom's car right outside our room window so we could keep an eye on it & hear if the alarm went off. Around 10pm Sunday evening July 9th, I looked out the window & saw a cop car pull in & park by the flowers in front of the office. Not under the awning but on the other side. Within 5min, another officer arrived in a SUV... He parked under the awning. I called my husband to let him know the police were at the hotel and that I had no idea why... I just asked him to make sure he kept his volume up in case I called with a emergency. I have no idea why the police came to Sleep Inn & I definitely didn't feel comfortable finding out. I didn't want anyone thinking I had called or something and then someone try to harm my mom, my son or myself. After about 1 hour, the officers left & so did several people. They were some of the people that I had seen at the pool around 7:30pm Sunday night July 9th. I did NOT sleep well at all Sunday night. Every noise I heard had me on alert. There were even a few noises that woke my mom up & had to look out to see what was going on. July 9th was the first time I felt unsafe & uncomfortable staying at Sleep Inn.

We always stay at Sleep Inn when my mom comes to town for us to do our vendor events. We love the staff. They always remember us & treat us so kindly. The lobby & breakfast area were clean. Our room was clean and at first we could tell there had been a animal there before us. However I sell Scentsy & brought my Scentsy Go! So within 5mins our room was smelling fresh. The beds were comfortable and the pillows are always amazingly soft and fluffy.

Front desk staff could have been more enthusiastic and friendlier

What I did not like, was the fact we got the date of by a month during Booking and was not able to change the date like Booking said we could, so while standing at the counter I had to cancel and rebooked for that night. Needless to say, between the this Hotel and Booking, I was ripped of $200. Booking will not reply or help neither will sleep in Aiken! I would suggest, NEVER USE EITHER ONE OF THESE CROOKED BUSINESSES! The Hotel blamed Booking, booking blamed the Hotel. It is a scam! No customer service from either place!

No bathtub - shower only. Shower definitely needs work as well as a good cleaning. Bottom and ring around the bottom is (I assume) VERY, VERY stained or VERY, VERY dirty.

Staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable. Seemed to have room amenities - coffee, blow dryer, iron, ect Great internet service

Shower was very odd and uncomfortable to be in. When they came and cleaned the rooms, they did a good job,but also cut the air conditioning off. After a 12 hour day on the softball fields at close to 90° heat, the last thing I wanted was to walk into my hotel room and it be like 80° in there. Needs updating but not terrible.

Location was very convenient and price was fairly solid.

We paid for a non-smoking room, but got a room that really smelled of cigarette smoke. We also only had a stand up shower, no tub in our room which we were not aware of ahead of time. The carpet felt sticky on my feet, so I wanted to wear shoes or socks the whole time. Some staff was friendly, some were curt. One was even on facetime with a friend the entire time I was trying to check in.

The sheets were soft. There was a free breakfast that was fair quality, nothing spectacular. There was also a pool, which was nice. The AC worked and kept us cool, and the price was reasonable. Great location for us, walkable to late night food and a short drive away to anything you could need. Also it was nice and quiet, both the location of the hotel and the rooms, it felt nearly soundproof.
