Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United Kingdom25$ nightly charge for the restaurant irrespective of whether you used it or not was a surprise we had never experienced before. Which meant we had an additional 125$ charged to our account. Given that we were out all day and generally ate at lunchtime we were being forced to buy something from the menu which was a bit limited when we got back in the evening which we did not really want.
Spacious room on 7th floor with fabulous views across the harbour. V convenient to airport and car hire.

United StatesThe walls were thin. We could hear our neighbor's tv among other internal noises on our floor. The A/C unit was super loud and blew out really cold air despite turning the temp up several times. Some of the front desk staff could have been a bit more friendlier; especially the woman with the black hair and strong foreign accent. She was a bit off putting on the phone and in person. The carpets near the elevator on the 7th floor had large stains on them. There was only one microwave we found which was downstairs beside the restaurant. Their room service fees and surcharges were excessive. The restaurant ramp rug was dirty and needed a good vacuum. Daily activities in town were a distance ranging from 16-35 min away. Trying to call an uber was a pain in the butt. Tip: Confirm your pick up area /Select 'Hotels/Rental Car Center'/Hyatt Hotel. Once a driver has been confirmed, immediately call the driver and let them know you are at the Hyatt Hotel. When they get the ping it shows you are at the Terminal or somewhere near the water. Most of the vet drivers know but some don't.
We were supposed to stay in the King with Harbor view room but wound up staying in the Double room with Harbor view because our flight arrived early and early check in was not available for the King with Harbor view room at that time. Our room was clean and we found no dust. Daily housekeeping was an added bonus. The direct view of the harbor in our room was niiiiice and my bed was comfy. Breakfast and lunch were good. The view of the harbor in the restaurant was great. My cocktail drinks were really good. The waitresses were pleasant and accommodating. There is a convenient shuttle to the airport that runs every 15-20 minutes. Room service was delivered promptly and housekeeping requests were also prompt.

United StatesThe only thing I'd say is that our window looked a little foggy or as if there as a bit of a residue or condensation so the view wasn't as clear as I would have liked it to be. Also, our tub wasn't draining well while we showered.
The view of the harbor was beautiful. I liked the location of the hotel as well. It was located in a great area but still a bit secluded. We'd definitely stay there again.

United KingdomWe spent 8 nights at this hotel even though it is more of a transit hotel For longer visitors iit would be good to have a small visible shop in the hotel to buy essentials and snacks. They did sell items behind the reception area but a small shop with more choice would have been better. There is nothing around the area so if you need to buy anything you need to either go to the airport or take the water taxi to the other side $15 dollars each way. The choice on the menu was pretty limited.
Room was nice, spacious and clean. There was not much of a view from our room but it did not matter to us.

NetherlandsIf you travel for the Boston Marathon, the location is not perfect. It need a lot of travel to go to the start line. Luckily we booked a water taxi (15€ pp). Other than that, hotel is comfy.
We had a clean and spacious room. Hotel also offered special menu for marathon runners.
