Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesThe sound proofing isn't particularly effective, as noisy residents, and a barking dog in one room four doors down the hall, could be readily heard in the room. But by 11pm things quieted and I wasn't disturbed during the night. It would have been nice if the non-smoking policy for the rooms applied to the whole building. The rooms didn't smell bad, but the hallways and elevator were clearly being smoked in regularly. Also, it seemed as though in addition to nightly visitors, this hotel has some longer term guests (renters perhaps) but that may have just been the impression given by how some of the residents were behaving.
The pool and hot tub were functional and clean, which seems often not to be the case these days. The staff was friendly. The rooms were comfortable. Nothing remarkable, but also nothing really unfortunate of note, so overall it was a decent night's stay.

United StatesWe rented 4 rooms an one, the pool side 2 double suite smelled of cigarette smoke so bad it was unbearable and I generally don't mins smoking near me. The hotel resisted changing my daughters room. They had to accept a non suite room but willingly did because that room smell was horrible.
We got rooms by the pool and that was nice for the family. My room was accessible and it worked out well.
