I didn't like running out of money and having to leave

I'm a homeless war veteran living in my car so on payday, I'm able to get a hotel room for comfort, rejuvenate myself. My stay here was great. The first thing I did was take a long hot bath. And then I showered. The bathroom towels and rags were very soft and plentiful. The toiletries were to my liking and it was very clean. The next thing I did after I was clean, was get in the bed. I instantly melted from the softest bed and pillows and comforter and sheets I had ever felt in my entire life. I turned on the TV to find a show to watch, and all I remember is opening my eyes and the sun was out. I had fell victim to the overwhelming comfort that my body had needed so so bad. I wasn't even mad that I didn't get the chance to enjoy actually being in a room and not outside in my car. i opened my eyes and felt a little joy and maybe a little sadness that it would end soon. All in all,I absolutely loved my stay. I loved the cleanliness, the bathroom, the hot water, sound proof walls or so I thought, the huge window, tv and fridge, it actually had a closet. I loved it

The let out sofa bed was broke so myself and my kids had to bunch up in the queen beds. The table outlet did not work, so I woke up with my device battery dead. The tub was rusted around the top. The curtains was ripped.

The location was great. Have different store in the same area. Very convenient!

I didn't like the fact that my frig wasn't properly working and that one of the lights didn't work in the room. Also the room was for 2 people, but only had towels for 1 person.

I enjoyed the spa tub and overall the room was pretty clean.

Microwave did not work I kept getting locked out of my room Dresser drawers would not stay closed Sofa bed would not stay open and every time someone attempted to lay in bed it caved in each time Room 211 overall stay 7/10

It was a tired looking room. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The beds were not as comfortable as expected. The room needs updating. I could hear the upstairs room.

It was in a convenient location for us at the time. Breakfast was good. Staff was pleasant.

The hotel rooms disappointed me. I specifically picked this hotel because I stayed here years ago in 2018 for my college tour of Albany State University. Now In 2023 I was here for my graduation from ASU. I had such a great stay in 2018 this was the very first hotel I thought to stay in. But to my surprise, the hotel rooms tidiness took a complete turn for the worse. The rooms were so nice, clean and cozy back in 2018. I knew that if I ever came back id stay here because the stay was that enjoyable. Sadly the rooms from my recent stay on December 6th, 2023 were terrible. The bed sheets had about 6 different brown spots on them. the toilet tissue holder on the wall was rusted and brown. our shower had multiple long hairs in it. the tub is super small and the structure in general looks cheaply put together and bad now. I believe the hotel is under new management. In my opinion this is a bad thing. This hotel used to be so clean and worth the money. Now it feels motel ish. I should not be paying almost 400 for 2 nights at a place that has motel par rooms. My mothers room didn't have a shower curtain, blankets for the bed or any towels. The rooms are not taken care of. The changes made to the rooms to save a quick buck are bringing the value of this hotel down tremendously. The stay was fine but I won't be staying here anymore.

My husband and I slept well, the wifi was very good, the breakfast is good, the staff was friendly and gave us a welcome bag with water and chips upon our arrival which was sweet. The pool area was clean and presentable. The hotel is on the more decent side of Albany which is a plus.

I did not like, when we went to check on our room, the house keeping staff was texting on her phone when it was 2 hours past check in and our room was not ready. Also, for a non smoking hotel, it had the smell of marijuana in the halls.

I liked that they had hot breakfast, The desk staff was nice, they offered a complementary gift because our room was not ready at check in. The bed was comfortable.

The linen was old and needed an upgrade, no microwave in the room. The bathroom really needs some work and cleaning.

The ice machine was downstairs only. There was dead water bugs in the room. I asked for towels twice and never got them. Not enough parking.

The size of the room was great. The beds were comfortable.

The lady that checked me in acted like she didn’t have any rooms available however I had a reservation. she put me in a room with a broken sofa bed and I clearly indicated the sofa bed was need.

Night staff guy was great! Very accommodating . I was in. room with a broken sofa bed and he had no problem switching us out. I’ll give him a 10 star if I could. light skin guy !

needs a face lift on the inside and outside Molly called me about my reservation and still cancelled it . I had to pray standing at the counter because the other lady was putting my card number in wrong and didn’t even want to rent me the room. thank Hod I serve a just god cause I had driven to far not to have a room. it was a complete turn off how this lady acted toward me. short while lady young. but not old. she had the worst disposition.

I’m a disabled wheelchair user. Although the room was accessible the bathroom was not 100% accessible. The shower chair was broken so I could t use it and they did have a replacement and there was no hand held shower wand.

Pool was closed; gym was closed. Minimum breakfast from what I could see. I usually don’t eat breakfast so I guess it doesn’t matter.
