I arrived early and had to sit in the lobby for half an hour because I didn't want to pay extra. Parking is across the street; there is a walkway to the hotel on the third level, but then you can't get to the third floor rooms that way, you have to take an escalator or elevator to the second level to check in there, and then you take the elevator again, and if you need to go back to your car, you do it all again....it was insane. While the hotel itself felt very safe, the surrounding area was sketchy.

The main restaurant was closed unfortunately, so we tried to walk directly to the take away near the casino. Unfortunately our entrance was blocked and we were sent all thw way around through the Casino, not sure why. Food was reasonable as a snack on a casino floor.

The hotel and casino are very nice but the restaurant selection is atrocious! The Steak house was good even if it was a little pricey. There is no breakfast, lunch or dinner restaurant available on Mon, Tue and Wed except a fast food place that had all fried food. There is only one restaurant within walking distance of the hotel and it closes at 2 pm.

The staff in both the hotel and the casino were very nice and accommodating.

On closer inspection there was some mildew on the tub surround and the carpet needs a shapooing.

Room was HUGE, with a comfortable king bed and extra room fir a full size couch and chair. Bathroom was also large and had a massive soaking tub.

One of the elevators needs serious maintenance, it's scary. Staff could be a bit more welcoming and helpful to be honest, but they were ok A hotel of this size should have more than one luggage cart. I had to haul heaps of bags myself as the ONE cart was being used by another person.

Both treadmills and the one elliptical machine all had "out of order" signs on them. The fitness room needs a lot of improvement and updating. Free breakfast would have been greatly appreciated.

I liked how convenient (and free) parking was. My room was very clean. I needed to conduct work in downtown Joliet so the location was ideal.

The only improvement I would have made would be the fitness center. Both treadmills were out of order and all of the gym equipment needs an update.
