The only annoying thing was that one of the two elevators was not working, which was the reason why we had to wait a lot to catch an empty elevator

The Location is just perfect. It is just next to the Empire State building and time square was also in a very good walking distance. The Rooms are pretty small but include everything and since it is just for sleeping, it was more than enough and clean as well.

Bed was very uncomfortable and the room wasn’t anything like the one shown on booking.com. The bar tender upstairs add his own huge tip aswell (avoid going here, although the view is great the drinks were the most expensive in nyc!)

The staff weren’t as friendly as we would have liked Upon check out the receptionist didn’t even say hello we were greeted with “what room number” and then “goodbye” I was annoyed not to be asked how our stay was and if we were okay with everything Then the man storing our luggage demanded to know why we didn’t want him to ring a taxi for us When I explained we were getting the subway he tutted shaked his head and said Goodluck with those bags There wasn’t any need to be unfriendly and we felt it put a damper on the stay at the hotel

It takes 10 minutes to get the hot water running in the shower and the bed was squeaky. The room didn't look as good as the pictures on the website

Entire hotel uncluding room is not neat and clean. Stayed in 202 - after taking a shower there was a mud like smell was coming out of shower and bathroom. Reported, they said they checked. But I experienced again. Didn't want to follow-up as I was already dealing with many things with my trip. The bed - frame, matrass are not aligned and was not able to fix. Bath towels are not fresh, they are clean but very old and doesnt seem like fresh.

Staff was good. The location is amazing. Luggage hold for free post checkout which was helpful in my case

The location was amazing. It was on a busy street so we never felt unsafe. It gave us access to the subway very easily. Walking to places was not inconvenient at all.

The first day we got there, both elevators were not working and guests were required to use the stairwell. Every day thereafter, only one elevator was working in the 14 floor hotel. This caused unusually long waits for the one elevator during busy periods so we would elect to use the stairs (from our 6th floor room) instead. At other times it wasn't so bad. Additionally, although the room was generally clean, one morning there was a HUGE roach in our room which we trapped under the wastebasket. When we returned after the maid cleaned the room, the roach was there in the bathroom, squashed, still alive and we had to clean it up ourselves. Other than those experiences, I would recommend this hotel for the excellent location and value.

The location was in a very safe and convenient neighborhood. The room was a decent size and relatively clean. We were in the middle of Korea town with lots of great dining and shopping all around us to include ess a bagel, cafes, and Madison Square Garden just down the street. All the main subway line entrances were just one block away in either direction. We were very happy with our stay.

Location was perfect for exploring NYC, however there was a lot of late night / early hours outside noise (we were in a room facing the main road), so that kept us awake/woke us up in the early hours - that's not the Hotel's "fault", but something to be aware of when booking! Tea/Coffee availability downstairs; would prefer if that this was available all day into the evening as it's self service - closing it at 11am each day meant that, when returning to the room at the end of a tiring day exploring the City, as there is no kettle in the room (only a coffee machine) us Brits were unable to have an evening cuppa without going down the road to purchase a tea. Beds comfortable, rooms on the small size with 2 double Queen Beds in, but were functional - shower head could do with looking at to get an even spread of water but it was hot and worked! Downstairs reception/waiting area nicely done - and a good place to meet friends when we were staying in different rooms. We had asked for adjoining rooms on our booking request, but found we had one room on the 2nd Floor and one on the 7th - so that was disappointing that request was not able to be accommodated as we had booked several months ago.

Just the fact they had maintenance and the first we were told about it was signs up the day before.

Location was amazing and so accessible to a lot of the main attractions giving this was an exploring holiday.

The location was perfect, and it was such a sweet little hotel! The room was smallish, but comfortable - that bed! I wanted to take the mattress home with me. The staff were lovely, and overall it was a great place to stay.
