How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I would expect to have internet in my room in 2024 for this money. Having to go downstairs to reach WiFi signal is disappointing

No wifi access in rooms for 5 days due to renovations. When toilet is flushed on the floor above, we hear very easliy.
Hotel is located in a convenient location. Food access to restaurants, shopping etc. Breakfast offered was good for the value. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms was spacious.

Breakfast was great however I got there really late at night meet a guy at the front desk by the name of Gabriel this young man was so helpful in setting us with our room and getting something to eat truly a gentleman who would go beyond the call of duty to ensure his guest are comfortable thanks La Quinta thanks Gabriel.

Parking area was consistently full. Apparently they allow cars to stay parked there while the guest is off property for an extended period (for example while on a cruise etc.)

The parking availability at night was poor. There was no internet connection at the moment. The ice machines were out of order.
It was located close by many restaurants and stores. The room was clean and it was good for one night.

Didn't like the fact that the AC was loud and that we were on the first floor next to the pool.
Like the location, since we were going out in the area that night. The parking was horrible due to renovations. The bed was clean and comfortable.

I were on the second floor this time the internet service were not so great the last time I were on the first floor I don't know if it makes a difference but everything else were great

Last night, the AC was changed to automatic every time its turn off and kick off an then on. Very unpleased. And that we have to wake up early.

At first we were given a room which was not made, totally unclean. When we contacted the reception, they immediately changed it which was good. But it seems that their internal communication was not clear.
Breakfast was quite good, The property offers transport to port, which is cheaper than Taxi. Overall the hotel is basic but highly recommended for overnight stays to connect to airport

I waited around 15-20 minutes when I arrived for someone to come to the front desk. The breakfast was so busy and poorly ran, the juice was out, waffle mix was out and it the plates were just in the wrong area.
The room was clean and comfortable. And the location was Close to the airport and the port to make it easy access. The grounds were pretty.

The room was dusty as if it had not been cleaned before we checked in and, although we mentioned that a 10 year old was staying in the room as well we did not find extra sheets for the sofabed nor was the sofabed readily made for the stay. When I called to ask for sheets I had to go down myself to get them. Bit dissapointing for paying $160 a night.
We've stayed here before covid quite a few times. Although the price has increased tremendously we choose to stay here again. The rooms have been beautifully upgraded and the breakfast has more items now which is awesome.

Internet access in the rooms was abysmal. No internet connectivity whatsoever, even though they advertised free internet. That was bad enough but when I raised my concerns I was given "that's the way it is" reply. When I asked to see the manager, he was suddenly not in his office, even though I had seen him around shortly before. If you need internet access in your room, don't stay at this facility.

Nothing to complain about.
Hotel was convenient for a late flight into Miami for a Cruise the following day. Staff was very nice, especially at Check in. Breakfast was good and while we did not get to use the pool. It was a good size and had nice seating. All hotel pricing has gone through the roof, this was a decent priced option and fit our needs. They provided a paid shuttle to the Cruise port. Was a bus actually. Worth the cost.

The bed was really hard and it was a full size. The elevators were VERY slow. It was extremely hot everywhere and took several hours to cool our room down.
