Went to the front desk 3-4 times even called for towels and they did not bring any was told the Friday when we checked in that we only get two big towels per room have to wait til the next day.

The trash, lack of cleanliness, and the police.

The room surprised me. 2 bedrooms, 2 tvs, a kitchen, and all separate rooms. That was really nice. The beds were actually comfortable. BUT. Cleanliness and maintenance was not a priority here. You cen tell people live there, which isn't the problem. The trash, towel mess and beds outside in piles was. And, we woke up to a taxi honking for 2 hours and cops cars outside of our room because someone didn't want to pay the taxi. At least that was entertaining. It did the job for a last minute booking.

Staff did not have the room type that I requested. Upgraded to a better room but door would not open. Moved me to a different room. In the night, I was awaken by knocking at the door. It was the night staff wondering if the room was rented. The door didn't have a safety lock and the staff had attempted to open the door with the master key card just when I opened. Room was not very clean.

There was an issue during my check in. I called to inform the hotel I'd be checking in late around 1 am as I was driving from Seattle to Louisiana the woman who answered the front desk told me my room might not be available because they only had 2 at that price and the person who was currently occupied it may extend their stay. I said ok but I had already prepaid for the room for 3 days and would there be a different room available at the same price since I had already paid she told me I was a liar and they took no prepayment from me I said I had the option to pay through booking and that the funds had already been removed from my account she again told me I was a liar and that it was not possible for me to have paid and that even if I had if that room wasn't available I would have to pay more for a different room. I said you're telling me that even though I prepaid so I could be guaranteed a room for 3 days that it didn't matter if the guest was still in there is have to pay more for another room. Then after she got tired of talking to me for less than 5 minutes she told me she was no longer going to speak to me hung up on me and wouldn't answer the phone when I were booking called back to find out what was going on luckily I was able to speak with I believe the owner or the manager the next day and it wasn't an issue but to have be told that after driving 3,000 miles and prepaying for room I might not be able to have one and I didn't have extra money to pay for a more expensive room that's why I prepaid is very frustrating I've never been called a liar by someone I've never met before like that

Bed was a bit hard and found a roach in the refrigerator and another in the bathroom.

AC cover was missing, no way to control airflow. Air blew on the bed, which was 3 feet from the bed, all night. Inside door knob came off in my hand when I was attempting to go to the office to tell them there was no TV remote. I was given a replacement remote with no battery cover. There was a cigarette butt lodged in the bathroom sink drain and no drain stopper. Dead bugs on the floor and spider crawling on the ceiling, which I eliminated. Room appeared to be recently remodeled but missed the mark. Layout markings for cutting of countertop for bathroom sink was never cleaned off, etc. Cleanliness was marginal.

There were roaches, the floors and the walls weren't clean neither was the ac. It also looked like the door had been broken into before because it didn't fit properly in the door frame.

The bed was comfortable and there were a few television stations.
