Parts of the building, doors and stairwell could use updating. My room had a faint smell of cigarette smoke, possibly from a time when it was a smoking room.

A very convenient location right by the highway, also close to many restaurant options and even a restaurant next door . The breakfast was good and the area was very clean.

There was a mixup when checking me in, so I got multiple calls and emails for the other person. Even after they said they would fix it in the computer.

Mix up with cleaning of room, leading to skipped cleaning. 1 cleaning, 20 day stay. Incidentals hold was only released after calling back 1 week after checkout. Will not be released until a total 15 more days form the day I called. Total Hold: 45 days from stay.

Staff. Location. Quietness of room location. Breakfast choices were plenty. Gas and food locations nearby. Did not hear a lot of hallway noise from other guests. Laundry onsite.

There was a designated smoking area right outside the side door which was gross if you needed to use that entryway. Also, there are only 2 washers and dryers for the guests, which can make doing laundry difficult.

This hotel stay was a very pleasant surprise! It is an older hotel, but the facilities have been nicely upgraded. The hotel was clean and the breakfast selections were adequate. The breakfast seating area was bright, cheerful and had plug ins and charging outlets right at the tables. The rooms themselves were spacious with lots of plug ins for anything needing to be plugged in. We found the hotel to be very centrally located to downtown Minneapolis, Burnsville, Eagan, Apple Valley and Lakeville areas. The hotel is right off the interstate and even though our room faced the highway, our sleep was not interrupted by highway noise. The staff was pleasant and very helpful with Clive's Roadhouse right next door and a Denny's within walking distance.

Wish the room would of had black out shades over the window, as the morning sun brought a lot of light into the room making it hard to sleep in. As the room was a East facing room.

The staff was very friendly. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was ok. The bed was a little soft to our liking, but it was good. I'll definitely be booking my next stay here when I'm in town. Loved the experience ❤

The laundry room was pretty small and no chairs to sit on in there but, was still glad we were able to do our laundry there.

One staff member...poorly cleared parking lot after snowfall.

VERY surprised and disappointed how poorly the parking lot was cleared after the snowfall. This is Minnesota and the property should be better prepared. Only staff issue was a young man at the desk who's attitude was rather indifferent when asked about a non listed $50 damage deposit. He suggested it was in case I partied to hard and trashed the room. $50...really for 'potential room trashing'....please....! Daily breakfast was wonderful...the pancake machine was AWESOME!

Update: Upon check-in, customers are required to place a Deposit on their CC. I was told this charge should only stay for no more than 3 days. On my prior stays at this location, the Deposit was cleared the following day. THIS TRIP... IT TOOK THREE WEEKS TO CLEAR! I sent the hotel an email after nobody answered the phone. Nobody ever responded to my email. Nobody ever answered the phone. (After two weeks), I reported the charge to my CC Issuer. After two hours on the phone with them telling me the hotel has 21 days to void the Deposit, they told me there was nothing they could do until the 21 days expired. My CC Issuer promised to correct my account the minute the transaction expired, which they did. Due to this hassle... I will likely stay at a different Hotel whenever I am in need in that area. So... BEWARE of what CC you use for your Deposit! Pay close attention to your account to be certain that you actually get your Deposit credited back to your account. Trust no one!
