Information book totally outdated. No hooks to hang anything in bathroom and closet. Bathroom floor tiles not slip resistant when any moisture—like not totally dry feet when stepping off bath mat—could use a warning. Could use a couple more hangers.

Large room,comfortable beds with enough pillows, like that had refrigerator and microwave, adequate sound barriers from bathroom, good shower—could use a grab bar, outside overhang protection on walkway and outside chairs from rain. We did not use heat or A/C so no observations on either.

Not enough lighting in the room.

Matterhorns Hunter Lodge provided us with a great stay; it is obvious it has been recently renovated and looks fantastic! I traveled with my significant other, his mom and our baby for Memorial Day Weekend. The location is perfect and easy to reach, the room was clean and the mini-fridge and microwave were great to have, considering we were traveling with a baby. I did bring my own travel crib. I also really liked the keyless/passcode entry. The fire pit in front was a fun extra! My only suggestion would be for additional lighting to be added to the room, as I found it to be quite dark. We would definitely stay again.

I think the back yard should be fenced in so that animals cannot escape or a separate area could be designated just for dogs.

I liked the fact that we had two queen size beds, the game room was awesome, and there was a lot of space for my dog to roam and play.

No formal way to know how to check‐in which was concerning with a family in the middle of the night thinking we had to sleep in the car. Bed linens were cleaned using a fragrance laundry detergent (not good for sensitivities).Very hard to see the facilities in the middle of the night; nothing marked on the road.

We loved the personal feel of the Matterhorns as a small business. The room was cozy and well designed. The game room was a great extra bonus and so fun! It is an awesome location any time of year! We will definitely be regulars.

Don't let the roadside appearance fool you. When I drove up I was skeptical, but it was a nice place. The rooms are on one central control which was a bit warm for me, but we cracked the window and it was fine. If you like it warmer the rooms do have individual electric heaters which are nice (look like wood stoves).

This met all my expectations. This is a great place if what you are looking for is a simple room to reat for the night. It is a motor lodge and it was obvious that the room was just updated. The rooms have a nice refrigerator/freezer but don't have microwaves, but the new common room does and the pool table and ping pong tables are new. It was a great room for me and the wife to hang out for a few hours. The rooms were quiet, even with the place full.

There was a few stains on the comforter of the bed and it was a little tricky finding my room.

Room was cozy and recently refurbished. I had a great view from my room of the mountain and the drive to hunter mountain was quick and easy. The game room was a good place to hang out with friends after a long day on the mountain.

The rug was folded back between the two beds, MAJOR tripping hazard. Coffee set up with no creamer. Floor tiles coming up by the bathroom. Hidden cleaning fee. I wouldn't have booked had I known. rather stiff for a nights stay in a primitive room.

Easy to access. Room was clean. The bathroom was recently redone. The bed was comfy.

The drive up to the motel and parking area was rather steep & icy. You should have warned that a 4-wheel drive vehicle was necessary. We ended up having to spend $250 for chains to get our vehicle up, to our room. Additionally, we were unpleasantly surprise by the $60 additional fee for cleaning. Our room only had 3 bath towels for the 4 of us, and no one came to clean, take garbage out or make the beds during the 3 days we were there. As a ski (resort?) the room had no place to hang our skis, put the ski boots, et al. And the room was much smaller & cramped than the photos I'd seen to book it.
