I find the hotel has people renting the rooms long term. They hang around the lobby and outside smoking . I would suggest placing them all on one floor. The front desk staff (2 )were outside smoking when I was checking out . They took my key from me outside and didn't ask how my stay was or if I needed a receipt. I guess I interrupted their break...very unprofessional. The evening front drsk receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. Although the room was clean, there were a lot of maintenance issues that were neglected . These issues that away from the cleanliness, room appears run down. This was my third stay here and may be my last. I realize the area may warrant $100/night , but this place does not.

Location is great for traveling through ...easy access to I77. Restaurants close by as well.

The manager barged in on me while I was in the shower saying it was 11:02 and she was calling the cops to drag me naked out and there are roaches and mildew and we went two days without television and wifi and she wouldn't compensate

Staff at front desk was very incompetent. Had no idea of how to check a guest in. She charged 2 of my credit cards 4 different transactions and tried to tell the manager that "she's trying to say I charged her credit cards " as if I wasn't standing right there. Then proceeded to tell me that our system shows that it didn't charge your cards when I called my cards company and they heard the transactions then it was oh now I see it on our side. Really? How many guest do y'all try to scam like this?

Nothing even saw a roach crawling on the wall in the lobby. If it weren't for my son and his need for the room I would have kept traveling elsewhere.

When I booked I had requested a room on first floor due to I had my dog with me who's 110 lb and not familiar with steps. When I got there they had none available. We survived though.

The hotel was easy access off of the interstate. The room was clean and even had a little refrigerator!

The AC unit had a leak on the last morning of my stay. The hot water takes about 10 minutes to get hot water to shower.

I am not a person who complains about a cheap hotel room, I realize it is cheap hotel and I stay in a cheap hotel 9/10. This by far is the the worst hotel I believe I've ever stayed in. I reserved a "non-smoking room" and was immediately met by a wall of cigarette smell when I opened the door to the room. When I returned home the cigarette smell was so bad I had to put my suitcase outside and wash even the clean clothes I had brought that I didn't even wear due to the odor. The door to the bathroom had a huge hole in it, the dead bolt to the entrance of the room did not work and with people of questionable ethics outside the hotel all night this was a very uneasy feeling. When I returned from Scarowinds and decided the take a shower and I found what appeared to be urine stains on the side of the bathtub near the toilet. After examining a "clean" towel before wiping my face I observed what appeared to be feeces smeared across one side of the towel. I took the towel immediately to the front desk and showe the clerk who agreed with me what I expected to be on the towel and replaced it. I did not catch her name, but she was kind and understanding, at 2:00am she was the only highlight of the stay. During checkout, the clerk asked me how my stay was, and I was honest. I told her my concerns and issues. She understood and said she would let the manager know. I went to exit the hotel and was met with an unfriendly, rude "HEY" from behind the desk. I turned around and was met by the manager who then accused me of coming down the night before complaining about the cigarette smell (I didn't) and accused me of the person who had been smoking. I replied back with I absolutely did not smoke and that I wouldn't have complained if I did. I hope my review finds someone who is thinking of staying at this hotel and helps sway their decision, as I am someone who likes to find out for myself. This time I should have read the reviews.
