Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The desk staff at this property are AMAZING!! Their professionalism and go-to are over and above anything I've encountered in customer service in YEARS!! In fact, they almost balanced out the ATROCIOUS performance by Booking.com on this occasion.

United StatesThe receptionist at graveyard was very impolite and rude after I call and complain that there was bedbugs in my room and I asked to be moved .. she moved me but was very rude also they wouldn't let me check out late even after I told them that I had to switch rooms late at night because of the bugs and I wanted to sleep in a little longer they still refuse

United StatesOf the three wall mounted sconce lamps in the room only 1 had a shade and it was very badly cracked with big chunks of plastic missing. 😳 Room was clean, bed comfortable enough. Shower walls/pan was so badly stained I couldn't convince myself to use it despite needing a shower after traveling all day. Room was "non smoking" but reeked of smoke.

AustraliaThe shower didn’t work and was dirty (old dirt on the shower walls not new dirt- I’m sure it got cleaned for us) but to be fair we didn’t ring to ask reception to fix it, so we can’t complain about that. It was fine.
It was good for a sleep after arriving at 10 pm. The staff were nice. The beds were pretty comfy(but a few small cigarette holes in the sheets). It was easy to check in and pretty close to airport .

United StatesThe pool wasn’t open, The lady at the front desk saw us 3 times and kept us waiting while she played in her phone, made calls, and sat there and stared at us for 10 minutes she finally helped us once her boss told her to help us. The room was shut and the beds had full blown indentations from years and years of use
