We had a corner room and because of the extra window the bed was against the wall, so not the most comfortable if getting up in the night plus no night stand.

While there are not a lot of frills, our stay was quite comfortable. There was no problem bringing the dog and the close proximity to the beach was great! The staff was fine and provided the needed 4th pillow right away. The place was reasonably clean and parking was easy. We would stay here again.

The parking isn't the best and we have a very large truck. This time we had a room on the backside of the motel and it was very difficult to get our vehicle in and out of the parking area in the rear.

We love this Motel 6 which has been renovated. Always clean and a fantastic location. Walk to beach and great restaurants. The beds are a little uncomfortable so an upgrade would be nice there but overall we always enjoy our stay and this was our 3rd time. We visit our daughter who goes to SBCC and plays sports for the college.

Super clean and modern room. Good location and it has a pool and car park. Also includes a fridge and well sized bed with TV that features loads of channels. It’s a bit of a walk away from the Main Street but easy enough to walk or get an Uber.

The room that we booked said that it had a tub and it did not have a tub I was pretty disappointed by that. Other than that I really enjoyed it and would recommend it for sure to anyone that wanted to go. My guess is that they only have so many rooms with tubs and maybe they were taken before we got there but I did reserve a room with the tub so I was disappointed by that.

What an amazing experience! The location is incredible and we now can say that we have stayed at the world's first Motel 6! Definitely a great value for the location and amenities that you get with the room. Parking was also very convenient. Booking I think did a great job with whatever rooms they Reserve ahead of time the view was excellent. The room was wonderfully renovated and modern but still had a retro vibe and had everything that you needed to have comfortable stay. My only two complaints are that we did book a room that said it had a shower in the tub and there was no tub. I'm a new mom and really was looking forward to that tub and the room did not have it. Additionally the rooms are quite small for what you would expect for a modern-day hotel but I think they are priced fairly and you get Fair facilities for the price and location. This hotel is the original Motel 6 so yes people were smaller and a lot of other things were smaller back then so that's not so much of a big deal but something to keep in mind if you have more than two people in the room it would definitely be tight!

No shower gel, tissues or water in the room. Family member without our consent changed our room to ground floor seaview. View was Lexus car! And noise from above, that was why we had chosen upper floor room.

Family visit to Santa Barbara. A basic motel but It was very clean. Good shower for an older couple like us. Convenient location near to the beach. We were able to get coffee and tea in the lobby early morning. .Small pool but we didn't have time to use it. As a transit motel for a short visit to Santa Barbara it was fine.

It could be quite noisy at times. One night a couple nearby were clearly carrying on their party back in their room till the early hours.

We absolutely loved the location. It was so close to the beach, which was great. It's about a 30min walk to downtown, so we would do that in the evening to go for dinner and then get an Uber back that was only around $8.

We got locked out of our room for almost three hours due to a lock problem. The staff on site tried to help but manager never returned my request for a call regarding the disruption to our trip. We had to go to a grooms dinner in our beach clothes. Very disappointed at not hearing back from the manager.

There was a gap around my door big enough to let light in, making me question the security of the room. Not that it’s the property’s fault, but other guests were inconsiderate- loud, had one teenager smacking all the columns and doors every time he walked by.

No microwave There was food left in fridge from previous guest, that didn't get tossed out. That made it seemed that the room wasn't cleaned throughly, and dust on the metal rails of the closet by the sink. Bad location to have the the 2nd bed right next to the AC unit blowing on your body.
