The breakfast staff were rude and sullen.

There was an old world charm about the hotel. Well maintained and attentive staff on reception and luggage.

Lack of smoking policy enforcement. There was none.

The room was in an alley no light. We loved it do to the lack of noise. The only issue we had was the constant marijuana odor eminating from our neighbors the entire stay. The hotel needs to enforce the no smoking policy more accutely. Pleasant experience. Would have gone there the next time we are in Manhattan had it not been for the MArijuana smell on our floor all 4 nights.

the corridors were a little dark and narrow, although not as bad as some reviews have indicated. the walls however were very thin and you could hear people talking in the room next door. but as the majority of guest were pretty quite this was not a major issue. one member of staff was a little on the abrupt side, but all the rest were excellent.

The Location was excellent and handy for the financial district , Tribeca and Soho. Also with the subway 10m away there were easy links to Brooklyn and the rest of Manhattan. The bed was very comfortable ( King) and the hotel was clean. staff were generally helpful and polite and breakfast was adequate.

Love the location. Right by the subway . Tribeca is always bustling , great cafes around , Shopping , and Brookfield plaza is. Short walk away as is the south sea port

The rooms are small, but in overall are ok.

The location was perfect and safe, the subway station is right next to the hotel. Target, Whole Foods stores and all kinds of eateries are located nearby.The Staff was very friendly and will help you with any problem.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The staff was wonderfully attentive and thoughtful, the rooms were clean and efficient, and the bed was so comfortable (I spelt great)! Great location, too! Very comfortable, great shower, especially coming in after a late fun night. Very relaxing and private.

The minibar took up a lot of space and didn't allow us to refrigerate our personal items. There also was no self serve ice machine.

No flexibility in early check-in; however, they were able to store bags.

Great location near lots of transit and within walking distance to explore the city. Not noisy (despite being on a main street). Rooms are quiet small - even with just two people it felt like we were walking over each other - but comfy and relaxing after a day of being outside. Size is to be expected when staying in Manhattan. Smells great - we had to ask about the scent!

Very poor breakfast, room was very small without any possibility to put the suitcase in separate place and it must be on the floor. Then no possibility to turn around. Good for 1-2 nights, but for more nights it’s hard

A couple things such as breakfast options and trash cans could be improved upon. While I understand wanting to avoid attracting pests in the hotel, the trash cans in the rooms could be more spacious or provide guests with trash cans in the hallways/lobby as opposed to having to leave the hotel to take out excess/larger trash. In addition to this, I feel that another public area to refill water bottles instead of solely the gym on the 2nd floor and utilize a microwave in Serafina would be thoughtful additions.

Friendly customer service and great location as it was directly in front of the 1/2/3 and A/C/E stations with some free parking on nearby cobblestone streets! This hotel is conveniently located nearby various eateries too, providing us the option of grabbing a quick and safe late night bite or early breakfast. I also appreciated the complimentary upgraded room to one with a queen bed due to my partner’s height on top of being able to check in 30min earlier! We would definitely consider staying again.

The 2 full beds studio room we booked was much smaller than the photo on the hotel’s website.

The location is perfect - subway entrance in front of the hotel, nearby supermarkets, local coffee shops. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, and everything in the room worked fine (a/c, telephone, dryer, hot water shower, etc.)

Our room was REALLY small. There was barely room to open our suitcases without putting them on the bed; there were no drawers into which we could unpack our suitcases. The breakfast offerings were okay, not great.

The staff was friendly and very lovely. The lobby was spacious and nicely appointed. We never had to wait for the elevator; it always came right away. The lobby and hallways were clean. The location was wonderful, right at the Metro stop and just a few blocks from the Westside Greenway and Battery City Park.

Thermostat needed to be restarted a few times. Also no water kettle in room. Had to ask twice before it was delivered

It was just ok. No eggs, sausages etc. Just pastries and coffee/tea. Not too much variety
