Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

ChinaAt the counter during registration, hotel ask me to pay extra fee for resort , but when booking at booking.com there is no such fee. I rejected the request. It's unacceptable to ask for unstated fee. And the address is wrong, when I get the address from booking.com. They told me to another place 'Jackson gore' , what's wrong with this provider?

United StatesCheck in was a mess! If booking on Booking. Com, know that you have to check in to Jackson Gore Inn which is about 1.5 miles from the address given. And make sure to ask them for the door code to enter the building which they didn't give us when checking in and seemed confused about when I called to ask for it once we got to the building. And parking is a ways away from the building having to carry your luggage up flights of stairs as we didn't see any elevators.. :(

United StatesI was at the ski lodge in the summer so there was not air conditioning. Room was warm.
Price was economical. I was there to attend a wedding so I was not interested in some of the amenities of the location. Bed was clean and comfortable although the lodge was quite old.

United Statesit’s extremely confusing to find the property. The lobby (where you get your keys) is located 15 minute drive from where the property is. there are no signs and no one told us about it, so we were driving in circles for 30 minutes until a security guard stopped us and told us where to go. then the staff at the lobby gave us the wrong address and we had to call security to come get us. Basically it took over an hour to get to the room. The rooms are very outdated, the building is smelly. It’s right on the mountain so during winter its great. But off season i found it to be very expensive, confusing and not very nice

United StatesCheck in process was inconvenient at best. Our booking, as well as the hotel website, specifically stated that we had access to the pool/spa facilities. We were however given a very difficult time when we tried to use those facilities and were told that because of the building/location we were staying in, we had no pool/spa privileges. The staff at the pool and during check in seemed annoyed at our presence. They then turned friendly just as our interaction with them came to an end. We were instructed to park in a lot about a tenth of a mile from our room, which is no issue at all. However, we were the only guests who parked properly (by only guests I truly mean the only guests; see photo). The other guests in our building parked in either a no parking zone or a loading zone, overnight, for at least two nights straight with no issue, despite the large warning signs stating improperly parked vehicles will be towed. We had trouble loading our vehicle during check out because of all of the vehicles parked overnight in the loading zone.
