How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The showers could be cleaned better and the the beds softer with better pillows. But all around was a good stay
The hotel was peaceful and we had privacy. The staff were respectful and was present when we needed them but allowed us to have space and comfort

The biggest issue was the old and finicky key cards. My cousin was locked out of her room repeatedly, like every time she left it. First time, they sent a maintenance guy up. He got the door open but he still didn't clarify what exactly he'd done differently to make it work. Worse, though, when she got up early the next morning, it happened again and when she went to the front desk for help, she was met with a sign that the desk was closed until 7am due to "staffing challenges." When she returned after breakfast, the clerk issued her new key cards and we wondered why that wasn't done previously. Upon returning to our rooms, it happened to me too! Determined not to have to go back downstairs, I just kept trying and my key finally worked after about ten attempts (though it's still a mystery to me what particular flick of the wrist made that green light flash on try #10). Free breakfast would've been nice, even a basic one with fruit, bagels, cereal, yogurt, etc. A pool/jacuzzi and more blackjack tables would be welcome additions. Lastly, upon arrival, it's not terribly clear where hotel check-in is located since there are two entrances and they both say only "casino."
My room was clean and the bed was comfy. Mini fridge and availability of both smoking and non-smoking rooms most definitely appreciated! Most of the staff, when available, were friendly and helpful. Our bartender was especially nice and offered free drinks because we were using the video blackjack machine. Liked that they had a $5 minimum on the real blackjack table, but never got a chance to play because only one was ever one open. A bunch of dudes were hogging it the only night I stayed and none had opened by checkout the next morning. The food at the steakhouse was very good. Free parking with easy access to the casino. Hotel is easy to find with a grocery store right next door. Cheap rates and reasonable enough value for the money. The negatives I cite in my review wouldn't be enough to say I wouldn't stay here again if in the area.

TV IS AWFUL ! AWFUL.. we try to watch Morning news with Coffee. Can't.. looks like 1960 TV signals. Awful. I realize they don't want Us in our Rooms, want Us gambling.. B U T... Let us watch FOX NEWS with Coffee
Food is expensive now. Smaller dishes designed to FOOL PEOPLE.. Common! Veterans parking was nice. Be nice to have more Veterans and Seniors Deals. I enjoy Nugget!! I gamble Cash so do use my PLAYER'S much. Don't trust GUVMINT.. I LIKE NUGGET.

The lighting in the room was inadequate for my needs. At least provide brighter bulbs.
The Golden Harvest Cafe is excellent. Good food, super service and great prices!

People are smoking inside the casino!
casino hotel mainly for gamblers ; the room was large and OK ; the value was very good ! The restaurant in the casino was just very good ! We had a breakfast at Mom's dinner at around 2 kilometers .....you don't want to miss that!

Cleanliness could improve. Fixtures etc were dates, not complaining because the cost of stay was cheap. Lift and signage could improve.
It's a good layover when traveling from LA to Death Valley. Budget friendly. In-house resturants were great! It's very close to gas stations, fast food chains and Wallmart.

I can't complain , since it is also a casino you can hear people going down the halls a good part of the night but nothing to loud. really light sleepers might request a room towards the end of the hotel.
A clean non smoking room , had everything I needed , coffee pods ready to go :) plenty of towels soap shampoos etc. I will stay there again when I visit my friend in a few months.

A bit old maybe, but it’s ok.
Ideal location in pahrump, close to all kind of shops and restaurants. Quite a funny and nice hotel and casino, a bit old fashioned. Very comfortable and convenient room, large and with everything needed. Real good price. Lovely welcoming by host at checking in.

Shower didn’t have any pressure, down to a trickle several times during a shower. Woman at the registration desk was miserable, hope her life gets better. Very Smokey everywhere, but hey, it’s a casino. Oh, and there was a $10 resort fee added on upon checking in. Be aware. For what???
Decent cafe on the property, food was pretty good. Room was clean and comfortable.

Hallways and room smelled of cigarettes even though no smoking allowed. Tired room with no updates
Good location for Death Valley. Good parking. Lots of restaurants nearby and a Walmart down the road for supplies. Good shower.
