The pillows were uncomfortable. Took 3 hours before we got heat talk to the desk. 4 times never came to help us out.

Everything was ok, only breakfast menu was absolute terrible. Pastries were stale, no bread, only bagels, omelette was terrible and something what they put on the side - was even worse than everything else.

Carpet was stinky in the room and also in the extra room in breakfast area. Bathroom door latch wasn’t functioning properly. Things were broken bathroom. Furnitures were very old.

The door to the hallway was broken so that was a safety concern because anyone could follow you to your room.

Bathroom door top hinge was loose-hard to close. Divided highway made ingress and egress difficult.

The Man at the front desk was Very, Very rude. Bed was super hard and uncomfortable. Loud due to remodeling.

Breakfast was minimal but ok. Rooms were clean and bug free. They were remodeling to make it better.

Woken up by cigarette smoke coming through the vents. ( was supposed to be a non-smoking facility). I know they can’t control what people do in their rooms but it was a health hazard for more than 1 member of my family.

The smell and cleanliness of our room

First impressions were rough. Desk clerk was brusk regarding checkin and general questions. I needed to scan a doc but unfortunately the business center was not operational. Staff near laundry room was much more welcoming and informative. The halls are endless and the stairwells a little too neglected so the room itself is a welcome surprise. No elevator. The hotel entrance is tricky due to the traffic design. The abandoned restaurant next door doesn't add to ambiance either.

Breakfast was very nice, hot food was hot, room was clean and staffed. Typical breakfast buffet. We didn't use the pool but it looked very inviting. Our room was clean, comfortable, nice to have micro & frig, coffee in room, blackout blinds, easy wifi access.

- Bright sunlight early in morning could not be blocked out; needed an eye mask to sleep - Noisy A/C (clanking and rattling); needed ear plugs to sleep - Uncomfortable bedsheets (non-cotton fibers made me sweat more); woke up frequently at night - Very expensive for the quality and location (felt like a <$100/night motel, but I paid over $200 for Fri and Sat night) I was visiting Providence for a convention, and found this a bit pricy for the stay given the level of quality, the last two nights were over $200 after tax, a rate for which I probably could have stayed in downtown Providence (had I booked earlier, anyway - they got me). Between the curtains, noisy A/C unit, and the bed/sheets, I got very light sleep with frequent waking, which was not fun.

The swimming pool was really nice, and the shower was wonderfully hot and high pressure (the latter being something lacking these days even at many "luxury hotels" I've stayed at). In-room fridge and microwave was great for storing leftovers and BYOB drinks, too.

Shut my key cards off after 1 day. AC in lobby seems to be broken or turned off. Breakfast started a little later then I needed. Some sections of the parking lot need repair.
