Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe heater made a very loud vibrating noise a few times that woke us up. I told the staff so it could be repaired before another person slept in that room. If I stayed more than one night, I'm sure the problem would have been addressed.
The SNHU arena was very close by. The staff was exceptional with letting us have a late checkout and with parking. The breakfast was by far the best at any hotel I've stayed at.. If I need to stay in Manchester, that will be the only place I'll want to stay.

United StatesI did not like that when I booked through booking, it said I have the option of a tub or a shower, when I arrived it had a small stand up shower. I was looking forward to having a tub since I only have a stand up shower at home.
I loved the private parking garage, and I loved the pool and hot tub. Room was great!

Heated swimming pool and spa were great! Breakfast buffet had a good variety of tasty American options. Family friendly, staff was friendly, nice living room!

United StatesThey over book, when arrived there was no room for one of our reservations. Had to share a room in the end and kinda ruined our whole experince, checking in was crazy, long line and moved slow.
It was ok, never really fealt comfortable there. They over booked rooms and we drove 2.5 hours away with family with our reservations and when we got there, there was no reservation for my parents when i had the booking in hand. Had to share a room with my sister and her boyfriend. Not what we expected. Very busy trying to check in and asked for extra towels since we now had to share a room and was told no,.
